Fixing your BMW F15 bumper - Part 1

  • In this video I explore fixing my bumper rather than replacing it with a new one for $1399.
    I first use a heat gun to help correct the damaged area and push it back up.
    there were 4 times where I bondo the bumper to get rid of high and low spots and scratches.
    I also used 2k primer with harder. this was a high build primer that gets rid of small scratches.
    I then sanded it to 320.
    Watch for part 2 where I paint it and install the bumper on the car.

    DAMN! Man you might want to quit your day job! That looks spec on. I sure can’t do any better. Can’t wait for the paint.

    My X5 2015 crashed and the left lane sensor is not working. However, it just a little damaged to front bumper and you can't notice it. What could go wrong with the sensor. I mean all the round sensor is perfect condition. No fender damage there. Just the left side reflector came off broken but again fender us 99% perfect.

      The wires are very thin and might have been damaged, that is what was wrong with mine
