GM was on a roll in 1959. All of their cars were beautiful . My parents bought a 1959 Pontiac Bonneville like this four door. From the PONTIAC Motor Trend Car of the year to the FLASHY CADILLAC with those incredible fins, GM had the BEST designs going. The BUICK was stunning with its canted headlights and flaired fins. The interior of these cars were all rich and high end. Just the dashboard alone was a work of art.
We had a white 1960 Electra 225 4 Dr HT with the Sport Roof that seemed to float overhead, I loved that car. We also had a white '70 Opel GT, just like the blue/black one in the background....
Our family had 3 - an Invicta wagon with factory Harrison/ Frigidaire A/C(COLD) an Electra 225, and a Lesabre that used more gas than both the others- we didn't keep it long.
Cadillac actually looked the way it did (the 59 year) because they used Buicks doors. That had to accommodate that line that goes downward in the door. It really worked out well for them.
Makes me think of flying. Jetage. This is basically exactly the one I want in spec- 4-door hardtop flattop, but mine is supposed to be bright yellow, not blue.
I had one of these 59 Buicks back in the day. It was a black convertible and was a very elegant smooth riding car.

I love the body styling on these Buicks. A Winged Wonder.
The rear wing sweeps around to the front over top the front headlight wing sweeping around to the rear. 🔁 🤯

This car looks MEAN in the front end.
My son, a youngster at the time called it the mad car.
It has something to say you really need to hear

Reminds me of Brad's '60 on fast times at Ridgemont High. "Only six more payments and she's all mine" 😊
The headlights look like Cherrys. Beautiful car.
