I love your style of collage. You make it look so easy and cohesive. I'm still trying to figure out what my style is. :-) I can't decide what I want to be when I grow up. LOL. I love all the styles. I normally make junk journals that are more for writing. I imagine I will use this Junk Journal January as a way to delve into a 'bit' of 'art journaling' ...and to try to figure out what my style is...but I want to use it as my January writing journal, too. The prompts look fun! Just off of Dephemerember, I'm so excited to have Junk Journal January so I won't feel so lost! THANK YOU for putting this together. Excited see all of the different collaborators, too!
❤ You have given me a totally different perspective to junk journaling. I love your style of collaging entire pages, rather than using a single page. I love the way you create layers … totally free of restrictions and boundaries. I absolutely love it and I’m feeling inspired to try it. Thank you Meg! I just recently discovered YOU on UA-cam, so I’ve got loads of videos to watch, all very interesting! Sending my aloha from the swaying palms and sunshine of Hawaii.❤❤
Hi Meg I am new to the junk journal January and I’m creating a tag with writing with my New Year’s resolutions and thanks for all the videos I have watched some of the previous collaborators and enjoy looking at their prompts For this collaboration thanks again
Beautiful page Meg!🌸💕 A friend of mine Dee, who has a channel 'Dees Crafty Place' gifted me with a box of happy mail. She's poorly at the moment, so I'm honoring her by using up pieces from the box for this challenge, including the journal.
Hello Meg, enjoyed watching, I'm a new subbie and I am looking forward to seeing everyone's different styles. Thanks for putting together this collaboration.
Thank you for arranging this collaboration. I was not happy when Dephemberember was over and now I have this collaboration to watch!!!!!! Your collage work is gorgeous!
Lovely page!! I’m not going in numerical order. So I’m doing junk journal January on Tuesdays and Fridays and will be doing 3/4 prompts per day. Thank you so very much for putting this together. All your hard work is much appreciated. 💕🥰💕
Just finished watching the video and realizing how different everybody’s style is! I’m hoping to do more water coloring and adding that into my journaling. I plan to add a list of my resolutions for the year. I don’t normally do resolutions, but this year I am doing the Goodreads app and challenging myself to read 84 books for 2023! I wish I had some book stickers or something. Dont have many supplies but I’ll work with what I’ve got!
@@jennsuicune i went to a hobby lobby and was disappointed with selection. I ordered a few things on Amazon, but money is an issue right now. I’m just using what i have and learning to just be creative with it.
@@olicat7725 Sorry, I don't know what a hobby lobby is (I'm French). Here we have some shops called Action where you can find a lot of items for a very cheap price. They are present throughout Europe. A lot of scrappers buy their stuff there. I don't know where you live, but anyway junk journaling is based on simple things and junk papers😃. Have a nice day.
@@olicat7725 Oh yes, I understand what you mean... This kind of shop is really expensive indeed. Maybe Action is only in Europe. It is roughly the equivalent of a Dollar tree shop or something like this, you know, those very cheap shops where you can find everything at a really low cost. Have a nice day 😃
This is my first year joining in. I'm already a day behind but I don't mind because I think my resolution for this year is to embrace flexibility (mental flexibility rather than physical flexibility 😅). I'm looking forward to seeing all the videos for inspiration as I'm quite new to journalling and have fairly limited supplies.
This is my first year for Junk Journal January. For some reason, the new year is harder for me than the end of the previous year. I am hoping this helps me appreciate the new beginnings. Thanks for this!
Meg, love your first page and your wonderful music. This being my first time, doing this I felt a little confused about how things worked but catching on. I will visit as many as I can to watch videos. My goal for this month is to try to incorporate more paints and gel prints on every page. Just as you I feel the paints add a great way to pull things together. I haven't tried using a white gel pen or a black one in some time. May get out the black charcoal for some fun. Totally all in on this. It gets the creative juices flowing. Thank you.
Thank you for setting up this collaboration, it will be good to see all the different styles and I hope I keep up this time. Started well because we in Aus are already on day 2 so I hope to be ahead as well as catch up on July’s prompts😜
Very good collage. I just posted my collaboration. Maybe I'll get more inspired later and add a bit more to it. Trying to ease my way back into the craft after a very long break.
Hopped over from Roxy’s Creations-I was watching Junk January 2022’s version. I saw you’d started a new one for 2023. Fun! I’ll give it a whirl. Thanks for hosting! And, such a wide variety of contributors, that’s bound to be endlessly interesting. Have a great year!

Loved watching your take on this prompt. Is the Neocolor II pastel new to you? I've not seen you use them before. I've recently bought a couple after watching Katie Moody use them lots 😂 I'm so excited to be a part of this challenge and am looking forward to seeing everyone else's videos 😁
I was browsing through your website and when I clicked HOME at the top - it has a little blurb about Chai? Not sure if that’s supposed to be there or not. It would be handy to have one of the references (or all) to the prompt list to allow a direct link to the full res image for saving. Excited to see what this month brings! Signed up to the newsletter too 🎉 ~Gillzybean ❤
