Some dog breeds possess dominant, independent personalities that require strong leadership and respect from People and their owners. These dogs are known for their confidence, protective instincts, and loyalty, but without firm guidance, they can become challenging to manage. I have owned two of these ten breeds and have had them as service dogs. Those breeds are Rottweiler and Doberman. Both I got from animal shelters. Seven of my nine service dogs I got from animal shelters.
The Rottweiler, Doberman and German Shepherds are my favorite dog breeds and all 3 demand respect as all 3 are extremely intelligent dogs and are possibly the smartest guard dog breeds. Honorable not mentioned: Kangal, Central Asian Shepherd, Tibetan Mastiff, Pyrenean Mastiff, Bully Kuta, Great Pyrenees, Bull Mastiff, Alaskan Malamute, Tosa Inu, Caucasian Shepherd and Chow Chow dog breeds are extremely confident and powerful and too demand respect as well as the extremely confident and most demanding of respect the Chihuahua 😅 ❤

I have always wanted a Doberman😊 they just look so legal they look like the king's dog and I cannot deny the Cane Corso is a very magnificent dog I would like to have one but I always tell myself I don't think I can control one😊

This is quite funny. If you want to talk about really independent and willingful breeds you succeed in not mention a single one of them. The breeds here are all very trainable under most owners. Kangal, Alabai, Aksaray Malaklisi, Bully Kutta or the absolute king of stubbornness and willingness to attack everything: the Caucasian Ovcharka. When you own one of these dogs you’ll understand, but they are not for the majority of people.

For a friendly pet. Should be purchased from original owner, a long trip for most people!
They are smart and friendly. They can hurt you accidentally by bumping into you because they are so powerful. Not for kids but you feel safe with one around.
