    Lee, your video's are always top notch, but why when sleep deprivation comes up, does the topic of stress, never get addressed? I know that is probably hours worth of talk or video's, but a lot of my client's, co workers, me, all agree that this is always the number one factor in either waking up all night, or getting to sleep late. Thanks Lee for not making nonsense video's like 98% of the other " body builder's" on you tube.

      +Jason Mazziotti you bring up great points Jason, stress is a contributing factor for sure. However that is a field of study that would take hours to discuss as you mentioned. We should all experiment with stress reducing activities and find something that works well for each and every one of us, thanks for stopping by, all the best.

    lach of sleep causes your cortisol to raise, which leads to stress and going catabolic. Wow! never knew that! that's amazing!! I usually get about 7 hours but lately have been feeling great on 5 because i'm so excited for achievement!! i'm gonna do my best from now on to go to bed earlier and sleep a little extra!! thank you!!

      @Labrada  9 років тому

      +waterbee80 thanks for being a part of our channel, the studies were found and examined by Dr. Dan, unfortunately Dr. Dan is only here a few times a year. I will put it on a sticky for the next time he stops by. In the mean time, google itself has a scholarly search engine, we highly recommend checking this out, you will easily find many studies that can help you on your quest for knowledge, all the best.

    Lee, i am 30 and my test levels are upper 600 which is pretty good for my age I guess, but I was still thinking of getting on TRT. Technically I am just replacing my test levels to when I was 19 which was 1300-1500. What are your thoughts on that.
    Thanks

    • @Labrada
      @Labrada  9 років тому

      +Tony K thanks for your question, this is a conversation for your Dr. There are many factors that should be considered when thinking of starting any type of hormone replacement therapy, and they will be able to help you with all of them. Your a young man with healthy test levels already, so talking to a Dr. is by far the best idea. All the best this week.

      Hey Jimmie thanks for stopping by, all anyone can ask is that you do your best with the situation you have. As long as you are feeling well rested after your 7-8 hours of sleep you are doing well. All the best.

    hello mr.lee, i prefer to have a good pre workout. as being a beginner, will supercharge suitable for me? further more i have a fear about creatine based supplements....? thanks

    • @Labrada
      @Labrada  8 років тому +2

      +Nanda Kumar SuperCharge is a great all in one pre-workout, there is nothing else you need in order to optimize your time spent in the gym. So you will be all set if you decide to try this product. Lets not forget a good post workout meal or shake containing quit digesting carbs and extra lean proteins is also ideal. There is no reason to fear Creatine, we actually just launched a video on this very topic. Hi.I'm 35 years old (80kg)amateur bodybuilder. I've been going to gym for many years. I've been having sleeping problems for a few months now. I've been eating well, 3000-4000 calories a day always counting what I eat.I started working very hard to achieve my goals 6 days a week and it was going really well to the night that I was waking up after 3-4 hours of sleep about 1-3 am every night and I can't fall a sleep. I have noticed when I work out I always have a problem with sleeping but when I have rest day my sleep is deprived but I can fall a sleep. I usually workout after work 3 or 5 pm. I think I messed up my body. I haven't been in the gym for 3 weeks but the break didn't help me. I think it might be cortisol. Went to doctor a few times and they gave my sleeping pills even strong ones, nothing helps even melatonin or zma Please help me I would like to do what I love-train

      +Simon Terify thanks for contacting us, if you have already seen a Doctor, there is little help we can give you beyond this video. One of the greatest changes I made myself was simply turning off all electronics a hour or so before bed. We don't realize how much light can affect our natural ability to sleep. Hope this helps with your goal of quality sleep, all the best.

    Wat time is best to sleep I mean like 9 or 10 or

    • @Labrada
      @Labrada  9 років тому

      +Ali Aldhanhani The amount of hours we sleep is more important then the time we fall asleep. Often the time we go to bed is dictated by the time we must be up to either go to work or go to school. 10 pm to 6 or 7 am is a great night sleep, thank you for the question, all the best.
