I noticed in the video of T.D. Jakes the shaking of his hands and the quivering in his voice. For someone who speaks to hundreds of people every Sunday, he is very nervous as he addresses these allegations, although he said he would not address it.
I noticed that too. The shaking of the hands. The voice. People give off clues when they are not being truthful. They may not be aware of it and think they are doing a good job at hiding it but we know.

He's acting guilty to me. If someone accused me of the things he's being accused of, I would just laugh it off because of how crazy the accusations are. But he's clearly shaken by it, it clearly bothers him to the point where he addressed it all throughout his sermon. Even got emotional at points. Not saying the allegations are true or not, but he's acting like a guilty person
He's doing much worse than that. He likes boys from 10 to 15 years old. He will be exposed and will even die. God has announced this through one of His prophets. He will not tolerate his sins anymore and the ones who defend the abuser will be handled like him.

i attended the church for ten years and was practically raised there at potter’s house. i worked backstage and saw things that most people would be surprised take place. some people who accuse jakes of certain things over the years like taking the members finances for his own personal gain and etc i know to be false. bishop jake’s gave me a scholarship to college back in 2016 which i’m forever grateful for but after all the things that i witnessed while being there, i wouldn’t be surprised if some of the allegations were true

He's displaying the mannerisms of someone that did something. TD Jakes is always cool, composed and collected. In these clips, he's rattled. Again, if you're innocent of something, there's no reason to keep rehashing something you don't want to talk about.

Repay in-kind. Restore. Until the people harmed the most have been restored to states of wholeness, the “sin” or sinful acts are not requited. Particularly willful harm. Eddie Long never said he didn't do it. He danced around it. Jakes said in the Clip he didn't do it. Big difference. When all the evidence comes out, we will know if he lied or not.
@patreese4616 I used to watch his sermons, then I started noticing a very disturbing pattern. I noticed that about 90 percent of his mentees have serious character flaws-all types of indiscretions, with an obvious disregard for the Word of God. One of his mentees, Pastor Chris, who was previously in charge of the Potter’s House in Denver, was so blatant with his indiscretions. The man cheated on his wife with his own godmother-a child whose wedding both he and his wife officiated. He then went on to divorce his wife, marry the goddaughter, creating two broken homes. He now calls himself pastor of another church in Denver. TD Jakes stayed quiet throughout that entire time, as he usually does with all his mentees. The Bible says you know them by their fruit… That man’s fruit has been rotten for many years. Hence, I would not at all be surprised if these allegations turn out to be true.
I am not a huge TD Jake fan, but I respect what he does. I don't agree with everything he says as I don't agree with everything you say. I think it's sad that you're even committing and analyzing what he said. He's going through a tough time, whether it's true or not. What we should be doing is praying for him and praying that the truth comes to light. Please don't kick someone when they're down. No one would like that to be done to them.

I have interacted with TD Jake’s when he stayed at the hotel I was Managing in Cleveland (The Intercontinental)when he was the keynote speaker for Bishop J. Delano Ellis’s home going. I saw things that at the time didn’t mean anything. In hindsight I believe he’s guilty because his entire entourage were gay men. I mean openly gay not flamboyant or disrespectful but not hiding. I believe he’s guilty.
I've really reached a point where I'm not surprised with any rumors. - just because I've been in the church as a musician, and seeing more behind the scenes for my whole life. And I try not to get involved with the gossip of individuals. But I DO speak on the bigger picture, and the bigger picture is that the whole mega church/prosperity gospel culture is going through a reckoning. More people are finally stepping away from taking offense to critique about what and who they love, and are actually seeing different things for themselves - one of those main things being seeing their heroes (and some would even say "idols") fall from grace. Not that every single one of us doesn't have things that could get us in hot water too, but I think it's about how we handle certain situations and certain topics. If a preacher can preach a deceptive "gospel" to you, what makes you think they can't deceive you in other ways too?? That's just where I am these days. From growing up, knowing that so many of our male Gospel singers are homosexual, to knowing that so many of our preachers and pastors are freemasons, and everything in between. NOTHING surprises me anymore.

It doesn’t matter if it’s true or not. He is in the situation he is in because he started going to celebrity parties for either sex , money or both. I knew he had a problem with fame and money when he allowed Tyler Perry to speak from his pulpit and then lay hands on him while he catches the Holy Ghost. I never looked at him same after that. I had no idea he had previous molestation accusations and pay offs till recently. I do know that my pastor going to these parties with Puff Daddy isn’t a good look so that opens him up to all types of accusations. He did this to himself either way and this is sad.

I'm going to say what the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15:33.."Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good character.” This is the Spirit of Truth guiding him into all truth to reveal this is what's happening. As believers, we've been commanded in 2 Corinthians 6:17 that we're to come out from unbelievers and live separated from the way they live. To not touch their filthy things! In other words when we're hanging out with the world we become contaminated by the things they do. Period. This is God speaking!

I've never known him to address anything in the past. I wasn't expecting him to address it. God knows all things and if any of it is true it will be revealed.
My problem is that he said "even if it is true, all I have to do is repent anyway." And then he edited that part out for the online video. That is highly sus. Even if it is true... He could have left that out. He just made it look like it is in fact true.

As I watched Jakes explaination yesterday I was very uneasy 😔 . It sounded like a guilty man's playbook. If you have ever been deceived by someone you cared deeply for, his comments sounds eerily similar to what a man would say if he got caught with lipstick on his collar. 1. I don't care what you think 2. God knows how good I am 3. Start to Cry 😢, get emotional 4. Make jokes about your peen not working while comparing yourself to Abraham. 5. Insult the people they accused you of being with by calling them freaks. 6.Tell them what you did for them, how you never wanted this life. People need to stop assuming how they would respond. For years I responded to lies against me until I realized people actually believe you're guilty when you respond. It's like being damned if you do damned if you don't. Now I don't respond because I know the truth comes out eventually, however, depending on the circumstances I can't say I would never address certain things.

All he had to do is provide a brief expression of "It's not true" to those who look to him to be the man of God that he claims. His failure can cause others in his church to stumble. It shouldn't but it could. I would've simply said "Ladies and Gents, it's simply untrue". I would've said I was in error for allowing myself to get to close to the things of the world and I'll seek the Lord for my failure... But he sounded like he was seeking comfort or reassurance from his congregation.

He sounds like he’s trying to comfort himself through the reassuring response of the congregation,his words are designed to buttress his own insecurities against the possibility of a growing threat, he seems somewhat unsure of himself and there’s a sense of urgency along with uncertainty about events that’s spiraling out of control and it’s not going away….. he showing signs of anxiety and a little bit intolerant as the situation becomes unmanageable….time is against him..

Hopefully, the rumors are a lie, and this is just a wake-up call to believers that we can't continue to have fellowship with darkness and aspect to keep a good reputation.
One thing about some of our preachers, they are very effective at using their voices, words, and expressions in an attempt to distract people from the issue at hand.

I noticed in the video of T.D. Jakes the shaking of his hands and the quivering in his voice. For someone who speaks to hundreds of people every Sunday, he is very nervous as he addresses these allegations, although he said he would not address it.

He's acting guilty to me. If someone accused me of the things he's being accused of, I would just laugh it off because of how crazy the accusations are. But he's clearly shaken by it, it clearly bothers him to the point where he addressed it all throughout his sermon. Even got emotional at points. Not saying the allegations are true or not, but he's acting like a guilty person
He's doing much worse than that. He likes boys from 10 to 15 years old. He will be exposed and will even die. God has announced this through one of His prophets. He will not tolerate his sins anymore and the ones who defend the abuser will be handled like him.

i attended the church for ten years and was practically raised there at potter’s house. i worked backstage and saw things that most people would be surprised take place. some people who accuse jakes of certain things over the years like taking the members finances for his own personal gain and etc i know to be false. bishop jake’s gave me a scholarship to college back in 2016 which i’m forever grateful for but after all the things that i witnessed while being there, i wouldn’t be surprised if some of the allegations were true

Accountability would actually de-frock them from ministry & cause them to “make redress,” in any Abrahamic religion, strictly practiced. An ancient phrase & idea, but nearly all “laws” are rooted in it. It means to proactively compensate for the harm, damage, injuries & injustices caused by an individual. “Redress.” Repair. Repay in-kind. Restore.
Until the people harmed the most have been restored to states of wholeness, the “sin” or sinful acts are not requited. Particularly willful harm.
One CAN claim the sacrificial offering-up of one’s “savior” as an appeasement from punishments to come, said to lessen the severity of harsh conditions, etc., etc. But, for every sacrifice one makes, one’s “priest” (leader) is required to make two (2) acc. to the scripture also.
Seriously undertaken & intentional misinterpretation has long, long, long presented “belief” itself as redemptive redemption, & so being pre-forgiven in advance of one’s next “sin” (or harmful act) has inspired ideas of absolute impunity under religious cloaking to be widespread, extending from the medieval clergy down to everyone/anyone unwilling to endure any material consequences today, globally. HAD the religious organizations instituted some governing standards, wherein leadership & followers were actually scrutinized and held to any evaluation levels that were universal to the whole, they all might have been able to better substantiate their claims of having had a religious “practice.” Lawyers have a practice. Doctors have a practice. Musicians have a practice. All held to standards of evaluation for credentials as well as credibility.
Religious “practice” patently & materially remains so subjective as to exist in virtual chaos & in constant conflict with other religions in the USA-concept, stemming from its European colonial concept usages of “religion” both as a power base & as a foil for wars & acts of war.
Religious practice has little evidence, if any, of ever having actually been put into practice in the USA-concept as any sort of governing dynamic-or even concessionary dynamic-between people.
Otherwise, Injustice, Disparity, Mass killings of entire villages, enslavement, etc. WOULD have been tempered-in some tangible way-by a preponderance of “religious people/religious communities,” historically over time. Yet that has never occurred, never was legally inscribed.
Religious practice, since the age of Televangelism, for all proven results & intentions, currently is primarily an Entertainment venue, broadly speaking. You will find very few “strong beliefs” backed by behaviors, by actions, very few even knowing what Religion is, nor its fundamental purpose, & very, very few religiously practicing anything except “lunch hour,” every day, at all times, consistently & “faithfully” as is often claimed. IF they do, or have done so, where’s the proof of its religious impact?

@patreese4616 I used to watch his sermons, then I started noticing a very disturbing pattern. I noticed that about 90 percent of his mentees have serious character flaws-all types of indiscretions, with an obvious disregard for the Word of God. One of his mentees, Pastor Chris, who was previously in charge of the Potter’s House in Denver, was so blatant with his indiscretions. The man cheated on his wife with his own godmother-a child whose wedding both he and his wife officiated. He then went on to divorce his wife, marry the goddaughter, creating two broken homes. He now calls himself pastor of another church in Denver. TD Jakes stayed quiet throughout that entire time, as he usually does with all his mentees. The Bible says you know them by their fruit… That man’s fruit has been rotten for many years. Hence, I would not at all be surprised if these allegations turn out to be true.

I am not a huge TD Jake fan, but I respect what he does. I don't agree with everything he says as I don't agree with everything you say. I think it's sad that you're even committing and analyzing what he said. He's going through a tough time, whether it's true or not. What we should be doing is praying for him and praying that the truth comes to light. Please don't kick someone when they're down. No one would like that to be done to them.

I have interacted with TD Jake’s when he stayed at the hotel I was Managing in Cleveland (The Intercontinental)when he was the keynote speaker for Bishop J. Delano Ellis’s home going. I saw things that at the time didn’t mean anything. In hindsight I believe he’s guilty because his entire entourage were gay men. I mean openly gay not flamboyant or disrespectful but not hiding. I believe he’s guilty.

I've really reached a point where I'm not surprised with any rumors. - just because I've been in the church as a musician, and seeing more behind the scenes for my whole life. And I try not to get involved with the gossip of individuals. But I DO speak on the bigger picture, and the bigger picture is that the whole mega church/prosperity gospel culture is going through a reckoning. More people are finally stepping away from taking offense to critique about what and who they love, and are actually seeing different things for themselves - one of those main things being seeing their heroes (and some would even say "idols") fall from grace. Not that every single one of us doesn't have things that could get us in hot water too, but I think it's about how we handle certain situations and certain topics. If a preacher can preach a deceptive "gospel" to you, what makes you think they can't deceive you in other ways too?? That's just where I am these days. From growing up, knowing that so many of our male Gospel singers are homosexual, to knowing that so many of our preachers and pastors are freemasons, and everything in between. NOTHING surprises me anymore.

I knew he had a problem with fame and money when he allowed Tyler Perry to speak from his pulpit and then lay hands on him while he catches the Holy Ghost. I never looked at him same after that. I had no idea he had previous molestation accusations and pay offs till recently. I do know that my pastor going to these parties with Puff Daddy isn’t a good look so that opens him up to all types of accusations. He did this to himself either way and this is sad.

I'm going to say what the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15:33.."Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good character.” This is the Spirit of Truth guiding him into all truth to reveal this is what's happening. As believers, we've been commanded in 2 Corinthians 6:17 that we're to come out from unbelievers and live separated from the way they live. To not touch their filthy things! In other words when we're hanging out with the world we become contaminated by the things they do. Period. This is God speaking!

As I watched Jakes explaination yesterday I was very uneasy 😔 . It sounded like a guilty man's playbook. If you have ever been deceived by someone you cared deeply for, his comments sounds eerily similar to what a man would say if he got caught with lipstick on his collar.

People need to stop assuming how they would respond. For years I responded to lies against me until I realized people actually believe you're guilty when you respond. It's like being damned if you do damned if you don't. Now I don't respond because I know the truth comes out eventually, however, depending on the circumstances I can't say I would never address certain things.

All he had to do is provide a brief expression of "It's not true" to those who look to him to be the man of God that he claims. His failure can cause others in his church to stumble. It shouldn't but it could. I would've simply said "Ladies and Gents, it's simply untrue". I would've said I was in error for allowing myself to get to close to the things of the world and I'll seek the Lord for my failure... But he sounded like he was seeking comfort or reassurance from his congregation.
