- Sorry for the trash mic quality. This doesn't work on 3DS because the menus are different. Use L1 on the top page to scroll up or R1 on the bottom page to scroll down. You don't need to have all recipes in order for this to work. It can be done as early as your very first Traverse Town visit with only 2 recipes. Your top page can always be created by using Meow Wow's materials while the bottom page will depend on which Dream Eater is in the bottom right corner. The completed Spirit recipe order is predetermined by the game. You can however plan out the order in which you acquire recipes to fully take advantage of the glitch.

If you’re in 2023, then yes, it still works. It also works on the Xbox version as well.
If you want a recommendation from me and you're doing this as you're doing a new playthrough, than use the glitch as you go through the game to get the most mileage out of it as possible. The less recipes you have the more Spirits you'll be able to do it with, as you'll be able to use the glitch before they pushed below the top page. This way, I was able to get a Cyber Yog and Zolephant, who are usually way below the top, because I had their recipes before they were pushed below.

Works for me even now. You can also do the reverse and hit L1 and use the ingredients of a Meow Wow.
It isn't working for me, is it just hitting L1? Or have I missed a step?
@@DragonGyrl96 You have to make sure the page doesn't scroll, if the bar on the right shifts doen, it wont work.
I hope this is still active. This definitely would be a great help, and can definitely be great for increasing a rank grade with dream materials that's easy to get

This works on KH PC as well, you just have to press the shift key and make a meow wow instead

So this exploit definitely works but it seems like it only works for the very top 4 rows of three and the very bottom 4 rows of three. Otherwise, when you R1 or L1 you get sent to another dream eater slot which changes the name to the one you're hovering over. Please correct me if I'm wrong though, I may be doing it wrong.

@@Thecrimsonchin0 yes. it still does and it is still great. just check every time you get a new recipe if you can do it (only doable if bottom row is filled out for the bottom check). saved so much headache

Do I need all the Recipes for this to work? I tried it on a grayed-out Catanuki with the Staggerceps' materials, but zip happened. Am I missing something? If I can save item drops to make the hard hitters, then I want to save as many as possible.
@@edwardt.8704 to make this work the spirit you want to make has to either be one of the first 12 in your list for the top method. for the bottom method 2 conditions need to be met.
a) your target spirit is part of the last 12 spirits
b) the bottom row of your CURRENT list has to be filled out.
so no. you dont need to own all recipes to do it, in fact you miss out on alot of chances if you get all recipes first.
The most powerful dream eaters are on the Middle so im fucked it only works for characters on the bottom or top all in the Middle are worthless cause you cant change the order in where they are

The right bumper on the controller. I assume you're playing it on Xbox then? 2.8 was only out for PS4 when i made this so i didn't think of that. In that case it would be RB to move the cursor down on the bottom page and LB to move it up on the top page.
Just tried this ended up creating another sir kyroo this is FUCKIN ridiculous I didn't FUCKIN work maing I follow the exact instructions out this video don't work!
