Sharon, you're pretty amazing. I am high risk for breast cancer and get Mammograms and breast MRIs every year for many years now. Three lumpectomies on the left and one lumpectomy on the right. I am so blessed to have wonderful doctors and ARNPs. And so blessed to have my faith. Thank you for telling us your story and allowing us to help others who have to go through this journey. Blessings, Rita.
Rita, I hope that my story helps you in some way. Faith and hope got me through my fight with cancer. You are very welcome for my story. Take care and God bless you!
You are very welcome. As a survivor you know how important your story is. Prayers for complete cancer recovery for you. Feel free to contact me txstampin.com/contact-me/
Hi Sharon. Greetings from Oklahoma! I have always loved your videos but love you even more after hearing your story. I am also a cancer survivor- I was diagnosed three years ago with a very aggressive form of leukemia and subsequently had a stem cell transplant. I am blessed beyond measure.and doing well today. You mention your faith helped you through it all. Like me, I'm sure you feel like you have lived out Philippians 4:13. Actually, I think we all live out that verse every day whether we realize it or not. That has become my life verse. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Sharon. I am also a Stampin' Up demo. I have done all of your Creativate retreats. I just learned a couple weeks ago that I also have breast cancer. Just two days ago I found out that I also have Lymphoma. I am in total shock and have a lot to face. I hope I am as lucky as you were. I did feel hopeful watching this video. Thank you!
Oh Susan! You were hit with double bad news! Faith and attitude helped me fight my battle as I hope it does you too. If I only made this video to give you hope then it was worth it! Please take care and stay in touch. You can contact me anytime txstampin.com/contact-me/
During covid 2020 i was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, 6 rounds of chemo, lost hair but is growing. Still getting immune therapy every 3 weeks but 2 yrs later i am still here praise God and my CT Scans have been clear. To God be all the glory.
Thankyou for sharing and the encouragement. I am currently going through breast cancer. Lumpectomy and removed 6 lymph nodes 2 of those had cancer. Had surgery in February and then 30 radiation treatments. I just went through a mammogram and ultrasound, results are so far cancer is still gone. Praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord! Remember that you too have a story that someone needs to hear one day. You are very welcome for the encouragement. Take care and feel free to contact me txstampin.com/contact-me/
Bless you, I love that you talked about your journey. I had a mammogram in May. Next biopsy, then a lumpectomy. After I healed I had 20 rounds of radiation. Your words were gratefully received. I had to wait 5 weeks from the biopsy report. My original sample went to a hospital in WI. Turns out that they needed a second opinion and it went to MA. Yes it was gut-wrenching. Also thankfully I did have insurance but my retirement date was fast approaching. I’m grateful that my new insurance picked up my treatment. No chemo but I am on a hormone therapy for 5 years. Hope I didn’t gabber too much. I follow you and I hadn’t check out your site but God had me check and I really appreciated hearing. 💕
I am so sorry that you had to wait so long for your test results. I don't think people realize how agonizing that is, Grateful that you had insurance! So happy that God sent you to check me out and that you found my video! Take care!
Thank you for sharing. It is one year for me. I have insurance thank God. I am glad that women without insurance can get help. I enjoy your videos. Making cards helped me get thru radiation.
Congratulations for your one year! So thankful that you have insurance! Making cards gives us something to focus on in a positive way when we are fighting any issues like cancer!
Thank you so much for sharing your story - God bless you. I was a breast cancer survivor for 17 years and then yes it came back- in the same breast. I am now cancer free for 2 years again and am very positive on my future. I am so glad there were people out there to help and support you - yes God is good and he provides.
You are very welcome for me sharing my story. God is so good and he does provide! Thankfully you were cancer free for 17 years and caught the second cancer so that you could get treatment! Take care and thank you for sharing your story!
God bless you and for sharing your journey. I love watching your creativity but this story humanizes the relationship I have with my virtual friend. May God and SU continue to guide and bless you.
So happy that your mom is a survivor too! I am sure that my story was hard for you to listen to because of your mom. Telling our stories helps others in so many ways.
My goodness Sharon I didn't know your story....thank you so much for sharing....my sweet niece has been going through double breast cancer and she is single and a hard worker .....she doesn't get any help....she is still working even though she is sick from the chemo and tired all the time....I am going to send her this video....praying she can get some help....God Bless
Oh Judy I hope that she can get some help. Poor thing having to work while she's so sick. I encourage her to google and find out what she could access in her area. I am glad that I made this video for you to share!
Bless you, Sharon, for sharing YOUR story n’ encouraging women to “take care” no matter their situation because “there IS help out there”! Sending prayers to n’ for you n’ the women who also are facing or may face this challenge in their lives! On September 9th, 2022, I began MY 35th year of SURVIVORSHIP! I AM SO BLESSED, too! Sending SMILES from Madison, WI! :-)))))))))))
Thank you for sharing your story regarding your breast cancer journey, Sharon. Must've been so heartwrenching & difficult; so happy you were able to get the support needed. It is good to know the resources that helped you. God Bless.
You are very welcome. Yes it was hard to share. But, I know it has already helped so much by me sharing. The donations have far exceeded what I thought I could raise. But more importantly it has given so many hope and that's priceless.
Our God has plans for us that we know nothing about, people in the right place at the right time with the necessary resources. Sometimes the message of hope is what is needed so desperately and you have delivered that from the heart.❤
So nicely said. Our God does have plans for us. He also has people in our lives for the seasons we are going through. Thank you for your kind words. I do hope my message helps someone somehow.
Lost my son October 2009 he was KIA in Afghanistan, in May 2010 I found out I had stag2b breast cancer took four treatments of the one my nurse called the red devil which was one every three weeks x 4, then I took 12 treatments one each week x12 . I was having some stomach problems but I thought if I could get back to work I’d feel better so I talked my doctor into letting me go back. Went back February 2011 I worked for 2 months found out i had colon cancer stage 2b. Did treatments for that. I always told everyone that I believed my savior had a plan and if that plan was to go home than i had family and friends there or if I got to stay here I had family and friends here too. Either way I’d be fine. That 6 letter word can be so scary and it can tear family’s apart. Just do your best to lean on your support group and the Lord.
Oh! Your message brought tears to my eyes. Losing your son and having two different types of cancer. God had plans for you! To share your story to help others like I have done. I too had that red devil medication and it was awful. But it saved our life and for that we have to be grateful. Take care and thank you for sharing your story!
Thank you for sharing and for reaching out for donations. I am a 7 year survivor. Thank you for all you do to help fight this disease. I appreciate you!
Thank you for sharing. I am a one year survivor. Totally cancer free. I had insurance but my finances were slim. I received food gift cards totaling more than $500. Part came from Susan Komen and part from iWin in Indiana. A blanket from the Fillies. Cash from my church, food from friends. God is good. Like you I had a lumpectomy and no clear margins. A month later I had a partial mastectomy and radiation. Thank you for sharing. God bless you.
Thank you so much for sharing your story! You are an amazing woman! I lost my best friend to breast cancer and I know what she went through! I so glad you found help and then went on to help and encourage others! Love you 💖
You are very welcome my friend. I am so sorry that you lost your friend to breast cancer. I do hope that my story helps someone in some small way. For that I am happy to share it. Love you too!
Your story is amazing. I donated today in your honor. I have several friends who had breast cancer and all doing well. Thank you for sharing your story.
This retired oncology nurse appreciates you sharing in the hope that this will help someone. Many of my former patients found their lumps on their own breast checks. Hugs ❤
You are a RAY of sunshine to us women, and to anyone that has or is going thru Breast Cancer. My mom was a breast cancer survivor. She had the affected breast removed and because she did not want to go thru this all again, she had the other breast removed. This happened in the 80’s. She is now in heaven but she never died of breast cancer. We lived in Dallas, so there were us kids, my dad and many friends to get thru all of this. We all stood behind her. Keep the faith everyone. God bless everyone. ❤
Thank you for sharing your story, Sharon. You’re amazing and am so proud for you to be a 20 year survivor . My mother was diagnosed in 1988 and was a 7 year survivor. Her faith and attitude was like no other . As you said, We must stamp this cancer out! Take care.🥰💕
I believe you were blessed...everything happens for a reason although at times we don't believe it....look at all the people you have touched after you went through all of this. Because of you, many people's lives have changed even if you don't know it. God Bless you♡
Thanks for sharing your story. I have lost family members to cancer and it is not easy to hear the word or watch the struggle, but hope and faith does get you through it all. I hope one day we can see the end to this disease.
Hope and Faith is how I got through my struggle with cancer. And everything else in this life! I hope my story helps someone somehow. So sorry my friend that you have lost family members to cancer. I have too and it's awful.
Thank you so much! Robin the donations are beyond what I could have imagined. So Thank you for your donation. However, as I am reading the stories and messages from those who have watched my video I realize my story is part of the whole process. To give others hope is part of it too!
I have a story so similar to yours- my husband had just told me he was leaving for a 22 yr. Old and I was 38. My dear dear doctor recommended by my new best friend across the street became like my Father. Enuf, but church members, friends, faith got me thru a terrible time for a young mother with 2 young children. Thank you for sharing, Sharon.
I am so glad that there were people for you when you were going through that. I think our struggles give us strength and are meant to be helpful to others going through struggles too. Take care!
Bless you Sharon for sharing your intimate story of overcoming and moving forward. You are a special woman in all respects and your courage and caring brought tears to my eyes. Thank you.
Bless you for telling your story, my daughter also went through this, it is scary and you just need to believe that you will get to the end of that rainbow.
I'm a new subbie and I also have breast cancer, I'm in stage 4 and the doctor said I had 5 yrs to live, it will be 4 yrs this yr, I feel that god has the last say so, I pray daily and I'm blessed to still be here today, your story gives me hope, thank you for sharing❤
I have always felt that God knows when it’s my time to come home, not a doctors. Your story will help someone else. I pray that my story helps others and gives them hope. It was an honor to share my story in hopes that it helps just one person like yourself.
Bless you for sharing your message of hope, and your artistry in creating a tutorial for the fundraiser. You are remarkable! Thank you for the work you do.
I’m a breast cancer survivor since last September. In 2016 when covid started in Australia I was diagnosed with non non Hodgkin’s lymphoma and now in remission. But I also have cancer in my rib cage in it’s entirety. Very painful it makes sleeping a non event. Even taking one of the strongest pain meds it doesn’t take care of the stabbing pain I have 24/7. Oh well shit happens. One more thing my children haven’t spoken to me either I don’t know what’s going on 🤷♀️
God bless you!
Thank you
God bless Sharon, you bring joy to so many and now help to those who are dealing with breast cancer
Joan I do hope my story give encouragement and hope to others.
