Thanks. I will be making more reviews in ghe future, but I only make a review once I have kept a board for 1 and/or 2 years . I will be doing a Kaly XL40 soon and the. Eventually all of the other boards I own. Laterz 😎🛹😎🛹
I am in love. This is THE 1 . i’ve been rolling around on cheap in comparison to this one just practicing and getting ready for this 1. thank you sir, for reviewing my board for me..
I don't need a fancy remote with displays etc. The Hoyt Puck is one of the best and safest remotes out there. Thats why Lacroix still use it. Sometimes it's better to keep things simple. The more there is, the more it can break. Just put a Davega X on the deck and you got all the information you need! Thats what i did, but I understand what you mean. In this price range you would expect a super fancy remote like the Evolve Phaze or something else. I'm still happy with my Nazare Supersport. 3rd season is coming... no probems so far! 🤙
Hmm.. I can appreciate you not needing a fancy remote, but I most certainly do need a fancy remote and want one. They should offer another remote as an option to please those whom want a fancy remote. Thanks for the feedback though.. 😊🛹😊🛹
@@wesrc from where im coming, this board cost me a kidney, still best purchase of my life, i dont imagine my life without it, but ive outgrown the battery very fast, i kept looking at other high end models like the Bajaboard but in the end i figured… the last moving parts a board has , the better - so i made full circle and came back to Lacroix :D , i love the board its amazing, sturdy , handles pretty much anything
Hey man, I have a DIY board that had the same tire issue. IF you ride "regular" like I do then your back boot is putting a lot of stress on that wheel that you have a flat on. So in my case I was running a Qind 200x75 tire and I'd keep getting flats. Anyways, it turns out the the inner lining of the tires can fray due to the amount of pressure on them. If that's the case here then you'd have to experiment with different size tires or tubes (depending on your wheels of course.)
Great review. Covered a lot of the feature of the board and your thoughts on the not up to par equipments that came with the board like the lights and remote.
Disagree on the remote, when you’re dealing with a high power board you want a remote that’s simple and designed to never lose signal. You’re gonna stop to change settings beyond the power modes either way, I’m happy with ideally not dying over minor conveniences. I’ve had remotes with displays, etc that have tried to kill me because the display was the priority feature over actually holding a connection to the board. Only issue I have with the puck is the ergonomics but at high speeds I’ll look past that with my previous experience with nasty production board remotes.
I understand. However, Lacroix should create NEW type of remote that has a display AND does NOT disconnect. That would truly make this company the BEST. But for now, they are just using others technology with the current remote, which makes them no different than any other board out there. I have had 17 Electric boards and not a single one has lost connection to the board. If Lacroix is the best... they need to be the best and create a unique remote that matches the unique board they have created. That would personally make me a much happier owner and user of my Lonestar Supersport. I appreciate your feedback. See you on the next one. 😎🛹😎🛹
I’d recommend the Flipsky vx4 as an alternative if you really want a display, I’ve got it on 2 of my boards that are more about low end torque and it’s been flawless so far, may even consider it for my high speed board after a year of no issues if it goes that way. Puck uses military grade channel hopping tech that hoyt had to pay a lot to get, it limits upgrades when the investment is that expensive, maybe eventually an update but for now I’d doubt it. I’ll +1 davega as a recommendation if using the puck though, I’ve paired the 2 for a while otherwise and it’s much better for telemetry on the go, bigger display than what a remote can fit and a lot more details within a bunch of menus.
Wonderful detailed video. I have a Lacroix too. What do you recommend for best bang for buck for best hubs/tires to give you the most solid smoothest ride that elevates the most rattle/play/vibration on the market today?
Hey, I got the same board, but I can’t understand how to unlock full power. In app there is an options to change the power, I changed the power from 75% to 100% but my maximum is 69km per hour. How to fix it? The app won’t save and apply my options
Normally, I would NOT recommend anyone to purchase a high-end e-board as your first e-board. It is a large expense and if you do not like it, you will have wasted your money. However, if you can afford it and are CERTAIN you will like and use it, then I would suggest purchasing the board that best suit your riding style. The Lacroix boards are not comparable to Evolve boards. Evolve boards are not High-End class hyper boards like Lacroix. These two boards options would be like choosing between a Range Rover (the Lacroix) and a Honda Accord (the Evolve) What is your riding style. Do you want to do a lot of carving or are you more of a speed style rider?
I dont think i'll be interested in going down the road carving as thats not something that interests me. I ideally want something reliable and something that can comfortably sit around 30mph and preferably it be stable at higher speed. There is the Lacroix barrel but I don't like the look of the deck
@@SubaruWRC1996 Based on what you stated you want, I would FULLY recommend the Lacroix Supersport or Jaws. However, I would do some research on what you are purchasing and what other options are out there.

If I had to purchase again. I would stick with the stock Wheels.
Btw Please tell me or point me to the right way of how you’re calibrated the motors to the storm core? Please and thank you.
Contact Lacroix support. They will help you calibrate it correctly
Fantastic
Nice review! I wonder when they will debut a successor of the Lownstar Supersport 🤔. Have you heard any rumblings?
I have not heard anything yet. It's about that time though.

If I were you, I would work with Lacroix support on changing the configuration. They will assist you.
I'm looking to get my first e skateboard. I was considering either the Evolve Hadean or the Lacroix Jaws. Which of those two would you recommended?
