- Harris Faulkner and Candace Owens are two Black women that have built successful careers without any help from the Black community. So it looks weird to see them in Black spaces.

I remember when Harris Faulkner worked in Kansas City Missouri years ago. She only to me was a good journalist but she had a stuck up attitude with Black people. She recently I heard she has resigned from Fox News so she doesn’t work there anymore. Thank you for sharing.

I will never forget when Faulkner was making her favorite peach cobbler live on air on FOX, and her colleague asked her if she made Kool-Aid to go with it as well. Her daughter knew what was up and rolled her eyes. However Faulkner played dumb and brushed off that wake up call. You could tell she was embarrassed.

You're right, many do come there and look down on FBAs. However all black immigrants from the Caribbean are descendants of slavery as well. The difference between them and FBAs is that post-emancipation most of their societies remain majority black. So they did not have to go through a lot of the horrid stuff like civil rights or racial injustices that FBAs had.
Her grandmother was from the Caribbean solely.

The panel of black journalists should have been more balanced. A black man should have been on the panel. They have the opportunity to ask a former president about policy, and Rachel Scott asks if it's fair to call VP Harris a DEI pick. Ask about the high food prices, high rent, and housing. I felt that the younger journalist was unprofessional with President Trump. I also felt that Harrison should have led the interview since she has more experience.
They did treat him poorly. They made him over 35 mins, no hello, no pleasantries, no hand shaking. While Harris was ignored them like she said she would do nothing for blacks.
I saw something *completely* different at the NABJ interview w/DT. The "journalist" sitting the closest to him IMHO, was rude as hell. It spoke loudly about her character and gross lack of professionalism than his. She was on the attack and everyone noticed it. He even stated that he was not even greeted and/or thanked him for coming out when the invite was open to *both* candidates but we know why the other one didn't show. Even if you don't like the subject of your interview, keeping it professional will keep her options open. And *NO,* I'm NOT a DT supporter.

I’m old enough to remember to OW’s talk shows in the late 80’s. It took a minute to realize her MO. She was connected to Blk celebrities, Period. Mostly BW at that. Nothing wrong with having BW celebrities on her show.
