Thanks! This will be released as a separate app for those just interested in the fly tying, and also added to Fly Fishing Simulator HD as a feature included in the Complete Package. So if you've got that package, you'll get this for free in that app when it releases.
That's great! If there are additional materials or other features you'd like to see please let me know. Next on the list are some more salmon fly components, like cheeks, topping, etc., but I'm open to suggestions too. The web beta version will be available on flytyingsimulator.com until the app version releases.
This looks interesting. It certainly could be helpful for trying to plan & design new or variations of flies and possibly as an instructional aid. I hope you will post more as the app gets further along. If you are interested in some feedback, I might be able to help. I would need a way to contact you directly.
Clicked on this for the novelty and quickly changed my attitude. I fish almost exclusively in saltwater so... I think it is a limited use for me in it's current version. I'll keep an eye out in the future. ✌
It's definitely leaning towards freshwater and especially trout so far, but expanding it to support saltwater hooks, and materials like long synthetic hair, craft fur, bead eyes, etc. is certainly feasible. I'll have to give that some serious thought. Thanks for the feedback!
@@Pishtech Oh, and I fly fish almost exclusively but, sitandfish had a simpler ring to it than Stands_While_Fly_Fishing. There is no way I could pull that name off.
This project grew much larger and far more complicated than I intended when I started working on it. It started out as a replacement for the rudimentary 2D fly tying in Fly Fishing Simulator HD, but as development went on it became clear that this needs to be available as a separate app for fly tiers.
@@Pishtech I thought if I did this I’d seek to partner with a materials vendor or different ones to then show their materials for the flies to tie, and have affiliate links to purchase any materials I needed.
Will definitely add this to my Pishtech collection.

I'm going to start using this for the beginner fly tying classes in my shop. It will be a great teaching aid. Thanks!

No way - did not know this existed and was going to develop it… I’ll not do it now…

I've never even fished in my life. But I want to download it, where do I go?? Haha
The details will be on flytyingsimulator.com. In fact there's a web based beta available there temporarily.
@@Pishtech cool! Thank you!
Do you like the game because I like it 😂😂😂😂😂
