The most unexpected bit was how much electronics are in the tailgate! I had not realised how complex it was under there so any rear end damage could be super expensive to fix! Again...bravery in the face of white plastic clips!! Well done Simon! 😃😃😃😃Richard. .
Thank you for another how-not-to-do-it video. I always enjoy watching you fellows attack your L405 without a shop manual. Keep the videos coming and seasons greetings from Her Majesty's loyal subjects in Canada.
Really useful 👍- could you do a video showing how to remove the inside trim within the load area? I’ve got an annoying rattle seemingly coming from behind the rear light cluster and would love to have a look behind….cheers!
How nice of you Simon to destroy your lovely Range Rover in the interest of science! Back when there were breakers yards I used to experiment with vehicles that were to be scrapped before I attacked mine, but this is taking things to a new level, Stay safe, and Happy Christmas to you! Chris B.
Hello and congrats for the super useful videos! Can you make one about adjusting the lower tailgate, please? Mine is opening too much and the trunk plastic lip is not flush anymore, I'm afraid the cables are loosening, can they be adjusted? Thank you!
@@L663 the illumination has failed which I think was an original recall issue and I need to look at how to change the whole module as I don’t think the leds can be replaced. Thanks
@@paulkedwards Hi Paul - OK this is interesting.... you have me hooked ! My Disco 4 has the earlier gear change..so cannot do a video. @@L663 HI Simon, thanks for the info. When I get round to changing it I will let you know and if its of any use will send some info / video of how it was done. Loving the videos and even our 18 yr old daughter who doesn't like car loves watching - I may get her working on one of the Landies one day :-)

The fobs seem to be fussy about what battery you put in them, most people seem to find that genuine Duracell batteries work best. You may have to lock and unlock the door a few times to get the new battery to register. I have read of others who have had the message disappear after the vehicle being driven for a day or two.

Hi, is it possible to convert a prefacelift (2013-2017) to a facelift ( new bumpers) and how?
Yes there are people doing this now ... you need a new bonnet / lights / bumpers etc Also the headlights need modification to work.
