This Is A Must Do in Olympic National Park | Hole in the Wall Rialto Beach

There are so many things you can do in Olympic National Park. In our opinion, this is a must-do in Olympic National Park because it has everything you want when visiting Olympic. The accessibility to Hole in the Wall is attached to a popular beach Rialto beach. It gives you the coastal views which is exactly what you look for in Olympic. This is by far one of the best things to do in Olympic and a must-do. Hole in the Wall is a moderate hike so it is not too strenuous but you need to go during low tide otherwise it will be covered by water. So just plan that accordingly when going. I used to visit Rialto Beach and camp at Mora Campground several times/year when I was younger. I loved to hike 2 miles north towards Hole-in-the-Wall, enjoying Osprey, Bald Eagles, Oystercatchers, whales, and seals along the way. You can either access the tide pools via the Hole-in-the-Wall's entrance at low tide (beware of slippery rocks) or else look for the black and yellow marker for the overland trail. Lots of wonderful marine life in the tide pools too. Fabulous corner of the world. I had the High Divide trail planned, and it was as good as expected, but the previous day called in on Rialto Beach with no idea what I'd find. The tide was low, the surf roaring, and I walked to the hole in the wall and back. Stunning place! Thanks for bringing back the memories 🙂
