- A Class Apart Railway Journey - from the bustling city of Mumbai to the orange city of Nagpur, our journey on the Indian Railway First Class AC compartment was nothing short of a luxurious travel experience.
With spacious cabins, comfortable beds, and air conditioning, this train ride was the perfect way to unwind and soak in the beauty of India's countryside.
This ride was perfect as we were travelling with our little baby. She got her own space to wander & play around. Also we could feed her at ease with complete privacy.
The bedding were neat & clean giving us perfect comfort.
From start to finish, the journey on the Indian Railway First Class AC compartment was a perfect balance of comfort, luxury, and adventure.
We'd highly recommend this train ride to anyone looking for all the above mentioned things.

During my Dad's tenure with Railways I have enjoyed these rides on our summer trip to Grand parents from Sirpur Kagazhnagar to Secunderabad. (During 80s) It's indeed comfy and suitable for a family. There used to be 2 more births on the opposite side too then. I am not sure if it's available in today's time.
It's still available sir. That one called as CABIN which has 2 lower berths and 2 Upper berths... This one is named as COUPE which has 2 berths (1 Upper and 1 Lower).
This was available in non A/C 1st class compartment as you mentioned in 80's, also. In Railwaymen terminology it is called Hanymoon Coupe. I am also a Railwaymans son.
It's still there, first ac has 4 cabins and 3 coupes
Travelled in a coupe 27 years ago from Hyd to Hubli, on our honeymoon in Goa.

Fresh air sirf sleeper class me hi milta h. Full view and feel of outside, sounds of train and surroundings. I prefer traveling in sleeper when weather conditions are good.

Ha bahut comfortable hota hai bahut facility. Mai apni family bhatijo k sath journey ki. Mere bhatije to ghar k jaise pure time masti uchhal kud kiye. Mai 26 hrs journey ki Dwarka to Raipur

1500 upwards really depends on the destination you are travelling. Check irctc website.

You cannot book coupe, you have to book in 1AC and if luck permit you'll get coupe, chances are low but generally a couple or people with 2 tickets get the coupe .

I follow 2-3 reviews and yours is the best..your review is like a research paper of analyzing who is who and why they are doing that without getting involved emotionally.. other reviewers seem to take sides because of past incidents and be fixed in their opinion of those contestants..they don't seem to see the show objectively to understand the contestants.. few have become PRs too losing their credibility.. other channel i find good is Rakesh and jeni 2.0.. this channel is more like a detailed description of happenings of the day with only a pinch of review though,like a video meme with a funny note

Just curios, you can travel in a flight fir the fraction of the cist as well as cut back jn travel time ?
For us reaching airport is tedious task too far. Price double than this. Railway station is near our house journey is easy can rest relax sleep and feed comfortably in train.
Plus you can carry extra luggage .
You can't book coupe you can just enter your preference for coupe mostly it is provided to couples if you are travelling alone there are very less chances to get coupe even you had mentioned in preference while booking
Even to couples it isn't guaranteed I guess

The problem with 1st class coupe, is railways allow people to travel with pet in the same class, so last time when we traveled, found dog hairs in the blanket.

They are alloted by irctc when chart is prepared. It doesn't mean you always get coupe . We can select coupe or cabin but its not 100% guaranteed that you will get the selected. Your seat and bogie is alloted when chart is prepared

We have hot jar where food can be stored hot for 6 hours. So we prepare at home and carry in that.
