- This is my first fan trailer, thought it's really more of a tribute than a trailer. My thanks to MikkroBitti and Bravenu3 from the BSN for putting up with my questions. Hope you like it and I welcome your input in the comments.

My sister told me to buy the trilogy and for years I told her it would be such a stupid game... finally I gave in to her at gamestop and bought them. I shouldn't have to say I could not have been more wrong about a game!! This series instantly became my favorite series of all time, Shepard became my favorite hero of all time, and all the videos people make became my favorite to watch. I cannot get enough of mass effect!! To those amazing people with the amazing videos, I just have to say thank you.

This trilogy is special and amazing I wish the ending was different but otherwise this is a legendary story line
I once heard that if you play this trilogy all other games seem dull in comparison. It's true. I don't care for Halo anymore. I'm tired of Destiny. Gears is fine once in a while. I just bought the Dead Space trilogy, it was nice...but I still prefer Mass Effect. No game story ever nearly made me cry like ME3. Especially when Anderson died. I like game that tell great stories with great characters and Mass Effect is the only one to do that.

i agree with u sort of, for me NO game has ever made me feel the way that all 3 Mass Effect games did, im gonna start my 6th full playthrough once its close to ME4 launch, but i did also feel and cry over both the Dragon Age and Bioshock series (not near as much as the way i felt on my first ME Playthrough) but i wouldnt go as far as calling them dull but ya ME is my Favorite trilogy of all time and nothing will ever change that or get close, if star wars had more emotional or dark moments and had more games like if they made a KOTOR 3, but i dought that will happen so ill stick with Mass Effect as my Ultimate game series of all time
Michael Canales Hardly, Mass Effect games are good but there are much better stories out there : Planescape: Torment , Mask of the Betrayer( P:T 1.5 esentially) , KotOR2 , Arcanum , all these videogames are unrivaled in terms of stories and level of writing.

You probably thought Kreia was some old hag who would never shut up , and most likely you never payed any attention to the writing because it is downright impossible to prefer KotOR 1's story over the second, and again I am only adressing the story here, not the other aspects of the game, KotOR2 is just more KotOR1 in everything else really .There is next to no difference, the graphics engine is the same, same feats and skills, same mechanics, only the story sets them apart. And speaking of which, KotOR 1 story was formulaic , typical amnesic chosen one who has to redeem himself by fighting an embarrasingly superficial Saturday morning cartoon villain. Compare this to the concept of silencing the force because it has arguably brought more suffering than joy to the world, compare it to the fact that the main character is an anti hero who was exiled from the Jedi order because he bears an affliction that can actually silence the force, and everybody knows it except him , compare it to all the NPCs treating you like shit because the Jedi are outcasts now, weak , disbanded and in hiding from the Sith , as opposed to KotOR 1 where all the NPCs were sucking your dick because they knew you were either 1) a Jedi or 2) they recognized you as Revan , long before that was revelaed to the player which I always found akward(Bastila for example). And don't even get me started on the villains , a cabal of ambiguous Sith who have turned against their master because she is a coniving bitch,the one who is your mentor now btw, who's motivations and goals are shrouded in secrecy is far more interesting than your ex apprentice seeking revenge over the Jedi or something.
Kotor 1 is vapid and cliche, Kotor 2 is nuanced, deep and bold because it challanges some of the preconcived notions of the SW universe.

mass effect is the best game for story lines and romances as well. But it's also a good tear jerker. but it's always going to be my all time favorite games. we all love and adore you commander Shepard, sleep well.

Shepard was thought in to existence by Chuck Norris, than he round-kicked a hole in to the fabric of the Universe and exited out in to the Bulk knowing that he was leaving it in good hands.

captain is an honorary bestowed upon him because of the events that led to him taking the conn of the normandy, commander is his official alliance military rank.

I was never huge about Mass Effect. Always more of a Warhammer 40k Fan but I respect the people behind this universe and fandom. You all have made and will continue to make wonderful things for something you love dearly. I hope your series lives on for the millennia's to come and you will still cry out its name as a legacy must. The Emperor Protects.

a Memorial for Shepard
Really captures the essence of who I think Shepard is supposed to be. The leader, admired by his crew, his friends for the things he's done, the insurmountable odds he's beaten. Respect as such cannot be bought, it is earned through great deeds. This video really embodies that to me and it gives me a very giddy feeling, because the story of Shepard was an excellent one. The ending where the crew thanks him was extraordinarily powerful.Thanks for the video, and well done.

im a so angry...because the next game of ME4 shepard will not exist anymore in the game, WTH they thinking??? shepard is the origins of ME series had, they said we will not make him alive anymore, we create another character...what will happen about all the romance of this game, i mean im fan of tali zorah and have romance with her in the game, this is are injustice of all gamers fan
Bioware has already learned that it must respect their fans. Without them, ME could have stopped right after first game. They live on our money. We buy their games because we enjoy them. They did a great job on all three games. ME 3 is great, too, but again, they have ruined it. I am happy that I have seen my Shepard live in the end after destroying Reapers. But I am not happy to hear there wont be no more Shepard. I want my character in ME 4! I fought all battles from start with him.
It saddens me to see Shepard go. I doubt Bioware will abandon the ME universe but nothing will compare to these 3 emotional games. Shepard's story is one of the best stories ever told, better than shakespeare in my opinion. I will miss not only you Shepard but also your loyal crew mates including Miranda, Garrus, Tali and the others. May I see you all again in the future? Only time will really tell. Well fought a great battle Shepard but I will be fighting an even.harder and emotional end :'(
i think you would do a great job on a"trailermaker role" (dont now what it's called in english) on the big movies... i remember when i saw the harry potter and the deathly hallows trailer for the first time and that was one of the best trailers i've ever seen, but all your vids is better then those! i realy hope you get more noticed! yo deserve about 10000 subbs at least./themightypizza
Tears...every damn time. There hasn't been, nor ever will be a game or series I love as much as this. I played ME1 50+ times, ME2 30+ times, I felt these games were my dreams made real. My emotions will always be conflicted upon seeing these videos because I'll probably always be bitter. But my love of -most- of the memories makes me gluten for for punishment I guess lol.
I wanted to tell you that I absolutely love your video--I have never been as absorbed into a game and its story and characters as I have Mass Effect and Shepard and his crew, and their legacy. It really is amazing how much a video game can impact you. People think video games are nothing but killing and stupid electronic entertainment. This series, this video, and Shepard. They all moved me, made me a better person. This series was like a good book you never want to end; and when it does you reread it hundreds of times. It truly was an honor, Commander. I salute you.
Holy fuck you just made me realise just how awesome Sheploo (default MaleShep) is all over again and this is coming from the guy who did multiple extremely thorough playthroughs as him in both games with the iconic N7 armour. Romanced Tali of course :3 Brb, raping the "like", "favorite" and "subscribe" buttons simaltaneously.

This video is unique, not just in its fine editing and impact on the audience, but also in what it represents. This video stood for commander shepard at a key moment, its more than a tribute, its a sign off for the gaming industries second best character (Master Chief is numero uno).

What I want Bioware to do is to tell us in Mass Effect 4 what happened with Shepard...
maybe even talk to him, depending on the time ME4 is settled.
But what I really want is to know for certain that he lived happy in Rannoch with his love Tali until the end of his days...
He isn't dead... Commander Shepherd lives. All beloved heroes and villains return. Batman, Superman, Captain America, Big Boss, Albert Wesker. If a hero has enough of a following, they will always be brought back to life by an elaborate plot device. Always... Mark my words.
I've always loved Mass Effect, a big part of that was because of your squadmates and friends and all the people you interact with. And then listening to what they have to say about you... I can't stop the tears... I just can't... Its to beautiful a thing....
Commander is Shepard is not one of the best Video games Characters ever made. Shepard is a symbol and stood at a key moment for humanity. Shepard is a Legend nobody could of done what shepard could of done. Commander Shepard you will be missed :( 2007-2012

LOL...true enough, which is why I don't care for the last 13 seconds: it reminds me of the blind faith I had that BioWare wouldn't produce a(nother) rushed product, and that they would cap the Mass Effect trilogy off properly.
I choose to believe that this is the actual ending to ME3. BioWare still need to wrap up the story lines of all the other characters but this is fantastic and it's totally the ending I see now. Excellent job!
This one is definetly your best OdanUrr...despite the fact it was your first one. I think it just because its a personal video for Shepard...and sicne we so rarely see the human side of Shepard it really gets to ya.

I'm mad and sad at the same time in order that bioware gave us, and shepard, I've said it several times in videos on youtube masss effect and will not stop, because as a fan I, like many, understand such frustration and sadness with an end of an epic game, my favorite game, my favorite series, so in the end I think we will have things pretty, happy, shepard as his love interest and together, he and his team, and in the end everything is destroyed, I waiting me4, bioware dt destroy me4 like me3
I agree with you. The way bioware ended the game with only one ending were Sherpard lives when he breaths under the rubble. Why would they even put that scene in if they are not going to continue Shepard in future ME games? I could not see Mass effect with out its crew. It makes me sad that the Fanbase is ok with no shepard yet they complain about the ending. I hope they don't pull a halo wars or a halo reach. And if they dont keep shepard im sure gonna miss Garrus and tali and even Joker :(
Amazing, amazing, amazing, amazing...... I played mass effect 7 times. From the very beginning to the end. This makes me want to play one more time.
I think this should be redone but with Anderson's "I'm proud of you" speech from Mass Effect 3 at the end. That would absolutely complete this tribute.

I hope ME3 is not the end of the series and Shepard. I hope they continue Shepards Story somehow. I Hope with all the hate biowares gotten will make them not wanna make another Mass Effect game ever again. Cause ME4 would be really cool. Getting rid of Shepard is like getting rid Master chief. I would not give up on Commander just yet. In ME3 Destroy ending he lives. So theres hope. WHy would Bioware Through away there Greatest main character. It would be like Killing MAster chielf off in Halo. Idk why some people want a new character to replace Shepard if theres gonna be a new mass effect game. And a new squad.
No other game had such immense scale and an enemy as strong as Reapers. I'll be telling my children about the epic journey we've been a part of.
