Is that cabinet backwards the hinge holes are on the back side?

Standart IKEA hinge. All mount holes inside cabinet. Im nothing change with that.

Did you find that flushing the filler piece with the door makes for a more seamless finish with the door on? I've always flushed my filler pieces with the cabinet body but this is a intriguing idea. Thanks.

Same us a regular studs - pine.
Any soft wood. Easy to drill and screw in.
Hi there, are the filler pieces flush with the cabinet or the door? Also, have you ever used door fronts as a cover panel to cover the back of an island?
Flash with door. No , never used door as a side panel.

How did I you make the cabinets get so close to the ceiling and was your ceiling perfectly straight?
No was not straight.
Edge of cabinets was masking with blue painters tape and gap between cab and ceiling filled with ALEX painters caulk, than touch up with ceiling paint.

what's the best way to hide holes and screws from inside the cabinets?
Buy a self-adhesive round hole covers sticker to cover hole and screw. Amazon have bunch off colors and sizes.

What is the minimum width of the vertical filler strip for the door to open correctly?
Anthony Raynor You can install even without filler , door can't touch the wall. There is a space 1/16 . But, door knob can hit a wall and door will not open in full 90 degree. So the filler size depend at your place around cabinets.
Anthony Raynor I would say filler at list 1 inch wide to open with knob in full 90 degree.
Fix it All thank you. We are going to Ikea today to pick up some cabinets. I might rip them down in the back like other people have done since we're using kitchen cabinets as bathroom cabinets
Did you have to rip the fillers out of a big board?
Pieces was cut from side decorative panel.
@@FixitAll , what size was the decorative piece, because I have to cut one and I only have the ones that measure 15 3/4 × 42 1/2
