Thanks s takes me back to fishing on Lake aerobics e with my dad. Some days we filled up plastic “garbage cans” full of fish. We couldn’t keep the double-minnow hooks baited. I miss my dad
Fished for walleye here in 2018. First and only time I ever seen a Great Lake in person. The weather was brutal. 40 degrees, 45 mph winds, insanely rough surf. My buddy nearly got washed away when a wave rocked him off a jetty. Luckily he held into a rock and stayed ashore. We were trying to catch fish for fall brawl at fisherman’s central but we came up empty handed that night. Very long walk back to the truck when we were soaked and freezing haha. Would I do it again? Absolutely

I plan a trip in May.
In Australia we have an introduced fish called Redfin. A close relative to the Yellow Perch. Great eating.
