My wife and I were at the Manor 2 years ago. We spent some time with Robin (we share a birthday) The headless women is my wife. So Kool. Thank you Robin and the Safari Collection folks.

Giraffes are my absolute favorite animal!!! I collect everything and anything giraffe, and i had no idea this place existed! That would be my dream to stay there :D Though i imagine between health conditions, no money, no passport, this will never happen. I will just have to keep painting giraffes and dreaming of them until i have the chance to travel. What a beautiful place :)

OMG! One of my BIGGEST wishes ever! A dream. I have giraffes all over my bedroom (if only they were real!) Ever seen that crazy credt card commercial with the tiny giraffe on the treadmill? Ha. I haven't even been able to go to a zoo to see them-unless I was so young I don't recall. So majestic. I would give almost anything for a chance to share my food and get giraffe kisses! My neice is also in love with them. Thanku for sharing. I hope to at least get to meet one before I pass. In my fifties now tho. Maybe I can "adopt" one from there?

The giraffe is not at all an endangered species: the IUCN (International Union for the Conservation of Nature) even lists it as "least concern". Certain subspecies are endangered, but overall, this species just deserves less of our worries than the lion and the bush elephant (both vulnerable) and the black rhino (critically endangered) do.

Robin Moore Like I said, the Rotschild giraffe is just a subspecies. If it goes extinct, non-endangered subspecies of the same species could be introduced into the area to replace it. If a whole species goes extinct, that's a bigger loss, which is why I think the statement in the video is total nonsense.
