That national opinion poll held in 2016 was corrupted by illegality. Don’t take my word for it, just look at the electoral commission and it’s findings which were just the tip of the iceberg. However because it was not binding on parliament, then it’s result could not be void…..after all why should 13 million bother not to vote for something which was not binding and affect them ?
The marginal result was declared “the will of the people” and “the greatest democratic mandate ever” by Theresa May , using a criteria denied to Scotland when they held an Independence Referendum.
This disaster has been caused by the Tory party , not God. Your argument is pathetic.

And by the way Enoch has been vindicated and proven right, looking at the numbers of foreigners that have come to the county in the last coupe of decades. If anything he underestimated the outcome. There was nothing immoral about what he said, it would have been immoral for him not to say it when it was what his constituents wanted him to talk about. Thats what they put him there to do. We only need to look at the recent scenes of Palestinian supporters in Britain celebrating the deaths of Israelis to see what a dangerous position politicians like Heseltine have put us in . Cameron was clearly planning on encouraging the EU to bring Turkey into the EU and Farage was proven right when he predicted the Romanian and Bulgarian numbers that would come. The lies about the EU began decades before the Referendum. Denigrating the EU at every possible opportunity. Blaming Europe for every problem in the country, from immigration to poverty to homelessness to lackbof investment and depreciating infrastructure. Every EU funded project in the country was unannounced, so nobody knew the good the EU did. Meanwhile in mainland Europe, every single project, from the smallest to the largest has signage explaining what, why and how much is funded by the EU. A deliberate policy by successive UK governments and their media bosses to use the EU as the whipping boy for UK government failings.

... what nonsense! There's only ONE fact that people need to know about the EU - it's an organisation that seeks to install a supra-national government and against which most Europeans have voted. Only the British have respected their voters. Every other government has had their voters vote again until the 'right' result was obtained - Ireland, France, Netherlands.

@@FalkeEins Respected the voters !! You delude yourself. The 2016 national opinion poll , which was full of illegality , was not binding on parliament and the leave campaign deliberately avoided any detail because they couldn’t agree among themselves what they wanted. So why should 13 million bother voting if they knew the harm that was facing them….poorer, loss of rights, loss of freedom of movement.
So after Cameron showed a colossal yellow streak and ran away from his duty to the country , Theresa May , desperate to save the Tory party , she announced “it was the will of the people” , applying a criteria that would have led to Scottish Independence after their Referendum.

As a multi-generational Englishman with family sacrifice in service of Crown and country, I was suspicious
at the outset of the stealthy steps taken to ensure the existence of the planned federal intent of the
evolution from "market" to the present European Union, kept from the peoples of the nations until it was "too
late for them to do much about it" (from a letter by a prominent proponent of "The Project" as it was known).
I despise Heseltine for his eagerness to accuse the likes of Farage (and others no doubt) for their xommitted
determined efforts to return sovereignty to a land whose history resounded with that struggle over many
centuries. His own motives are his business as a wealthy businessman but I don't have to agree or admire
them. Perhaps Lord Halifax was convinced of his own position when he encouraged appeasement to
Hitler's Germany. This country has its share of such aberrations.
