I've played CE on and of for a number of years, and keep getting to a place where I just have had enough. I love what you are doing with this series! It's encouraged me to go back to the game and be a bit more strategic and deliberate about the way that I play. The new system of journey steps is actually quite helpful as well, but watching this series and seeing how you use the steps to their best effect is extremely helpful. On a different note, I now live in the US, been here for 30 years. Originally from Clackmannanshire. I'm guessing you are from close to Aberdeen. Maybe Montrose? My Auntie lived in Arbroath for many years.
I've watched a lot of these videos to help me out. I don't know where anything is and only move along places I've been to, which is few. I went into the Hinterlands through one of the Aqueducts and made a huge counter-clockwise circle around the snowlands south of the volcano. Found zero ice and came all the way to the entrance to the desert around Serpimaru. Most map I've seen in weeks but so scary venturing outside my familiar zones. Going to try this area later tonight to finally get my hands on some ice.
I didn't have luck finding black ice on that ridge, maybe a couple nodes at best. Much easier to get ice on top of the mountain above the Outcast camp In my playthroughs that golem spawns 100% of the time Btw, you can cheese the last part of the journey step by befriending any nordheimer fighter and stealing his/her hardened steel weapon. Doing so you complete the journey and get perfected variants for free I always get box at lvl 43, hate when food goes rotten
Thank you for making these videos. I have found them extremely helpful. I've been searching for a Dalinsia. No luck yet. I did recruit a Janos this week. So far he's been a solid sidekick.
Your narration is awesome. great tips as always, you remind me of my english teacher, same accent, and I always did listen to him, keep up the great series on all your guides, looking into starfield as next major game, have watched the vid you just did, cheers 🦘
I didn't realize how much black ice was up that ridge. I always take the obelisk to Frost Giant cave, sneak past the first guards and drop down behind the stairs... A bunch of black ice there as well. From where you were at, it looks like you can combine star metal and black ice run together.
Just discovered this channel. Big C:E fan, and even though I'm a long time player, I still enjoy the beginner tutorials. For me, my favorite part of the game is the "starting out" part. All that being said, I'm also a big fan of Scottish UA-camrs, and to me, you sound just like the "Clan Broonford" guy. You're not the same guy are you?
It was quite a journey up there but I did it. I have plenty of that ice and black ice plus two bear cubs though crafting the food to tame them is going to be difficult.
So Honey, or Shadespiced Honey, is the best food for highest chance of a Greater Bear. Honey is easy from the Beehive at lvl 33 for a 20% chance and if you can get some Shadespice from a random drop or the Midnight Grove dungeon you can up the chance to 30%
solspiel has 5 bars, but there is rare to get it. in somegames i never got it at all. an alternative, bit less but sure drop, is the shield from the scorpion you get in the silver mines. that one has 3 bars proteccion. angaar you might wanna think of that before going to the vulcano. i heard its hot down there( especially with the new patch). EDIT : I might be confused here , bc i think solspiel gives cold protec, while the scorpion shields gives heat protec there is no perfected steel short sword. thats why. there are for the other wepons, strenght sword
I m in love with Conan. Now also loving your videos as one of those the best in my opinion about this game. I'm new in this world but following your videos wanted to produce Greater Shaelbeck pet. About hundreds (or more) tries I ended up with violet rare. I added berries to diet as a feeding source. Any advice here or is this just pure RNG and am not lucky ? ps. my plan was to use Greater Shaelbeck as a carrier not fighter but - if I can't get him - is there better option except horse ?
Desert Berries gives best chance for Greater Shaleback (still only 10%). Other creatures will also have 10 slots if you don't need them strong to fight
@@siloamking2486 you need to kill and harvest the sandreapers either west of the Oasis of Nekhet (the one that is next to Sepermeru), or just north as the Shattered Springs end, or exactly north of the Black Galleon (as the blackhand camps end), or in north of the jungle almost where map ends (K9)... another way is to get the recipe and harvest the scorpion queen at the end of the silvermine. Also you need to have the firebowl caldron learned, but the recipes will be in the alchemist bench.
Hello again, so I am getting ready to head up the mountain for the black ice. I would say I have followed all your videos to the letter and everything has worked out so well. I’ve come to my first major obstacle however, I reached level 60 and I believe I’ve reached a cap because I am not advancing anymore and more importantly not being awarded points for unlocking knowledge. There is so much I still need to learn, what do I do, did I miss this in one of your previous videos? I’m guessing there might be a potion I could take, but how would I unlock important knowledge that requires using points for prerequisites, any strategies. Also Im guessing you are Scottish, I am from a town in the states that was named in the 1800 by a gentleman from Aberdeen, which is what he named my town, are you by chance close to the Scottish city?
So I watched all your videos up to the “Library of esoteric artifacts” where you covered the issue of running out of knowledge points. So either grind for fragments of power or drink the reset potion. I figured it would take for ever to try and farm the fragments, (a video said to fight the Red Mother repeatedly). So I drank the reset potion but now I’m spending a ton of time trying to figure out what knowledge to unlock in order to craft things I currently need. I’m stuck on knowledge for insulated wood in order to build the garrison armored bench and that appears to only be scratching the surface.
Firstly, in live in Aberdeen 😆 My preference is to reset with the potion. I guess over time I have kind of worked out what is required from where, but I realise that is harder for new player. When you are attempting to to learn a new knowledge it will show you just above it the prerequisite knowledge’s. You can also go to the last section that shows all knowledge and just search in the bar, so you could search for Insulated wood and it will show you what is required to learn it

I am indeed. Big fan of Fallout 3 and 4 and Starfield is very much Fallout 4 in space. I got it on Game Pass to try it, in case it was a buggy mess like Fallout 76 was on launch.
I doubt anyone would object if you just admin teleport close to locations you're heading, like in this vid you could have just teleported to your camp at north and go from there, unless you enjoy riding around that much =).
Good informative Video Angaar, should have gone down the other side of the mountain and gotten the Ymire religion while you were there, to show the noobs where it is
Another amazing guide sir, I need to rant lol I went a year and a half without even seeing Dalinsia and now within the last couple of months I have gotten three of her lol seems the RNG gods have decided to smile on me.
No naked, curry-wielding Scottish barbarians running through the snow in this video, so clearly a downgrade from your sabretooth guide. ;) Joking aside, thanks for making all these Conan Exiles guides.
You mean the Glowing Stick? Sadly that is learned from the Dredger feat from the entrance of The Dregs dungeon on Exiled Lands, which doesn't exist on Siptah. So I am not aware of a way to learn this on Siptah 😟
thank you for this. i've been playing for 2 weeks and it's so hard finding info that's up to date lol
Yeah, can be difficult with all the recent updates. 🤘😎🤘
Hilarious.... when you were looking for the fridge, I'm yelling at the screen, damnit, it's right there!

The savory feasts you have add concussive damage and warm you up the same as spiced meat.

There is blood crystal golem that will often spawn near the black ice plateau area around the 18 minute mark in the video. Didn't see that you had it.

Patiently waiting for the episode that teaches poison. Im stuck on that journey step because I don't know where to find the materials.
Poison can be made from Sand Reaper toxin glands, you find them in the desert and I believe poison is crafted in the alchemist’s bench.
do you want me to tell you or you will wait? 😁
@@bullwyrk you can tell me. I'll still watch the videos because I enjoy the series.

I have Game Pass and plan to play Starfield soon. I'm looking forward to it. Bethesda games are normally broken at launch so I didn't rush in.
@AngaarUK I haven't played either game, and I have never gotten a game pass. I am thinking about getting it for a month just to see

i'm pretty sure master Angaar knew that there is another way to get black ice.. inside the warmarker dungeon..🙃

Yes, it is part of Hosav's Custom UI mod that also changes the UI in the top-left and gives damage numbers too
