I have been looking forward to this episode. I am saving it for a special occasion, like when I am having my dinner. You make the game so enjoyable. It's a heavy game to learn when your new but somehow you take the 'heavy' out of it.
Double followers is so good. So glad I have been going through this series. The game has a lot to offer and I didn't want to miss anything. Great series, thank you.
they have kept the predatory blade in brutes loot pool and the riptide in winged deaths loot pool.. every other boss in unnamed city seems to drop a legendary every kill except winged death.. I spent 4 hours running from boss to boss today 😂
Great vid again Angaar. my grand nephew has started playing conan fro 1st time, I told him to watch your vids. said you'll live longer watching the Master at work, best wishes and good health 🦘
They should make a third map where you can take on Thoth Amon, maybe make it a bit different where your friend limit following you increases to represent being more like being at war then being an exile or something similar.
If they want to keep it semi canon (no balls include), conan kills thoth amon in the very last book if i am not mistaken. Take it, exiles is already not canon.
There is a journal by the mountaineer at the very top of the Citadel of the Triumvirate. It alludes to stashes he left in other climbable locations. There are also several fragments of power to be had just by climbing around, no need to fight if that helps anyone.
Fun tour of the Unnamed City Angaar... I have 2 of the torches on Siptah, but had to farm her for them, think I had 25-30 kills for them both. It's easier to farm her on Siptah as she is on the beach
Nice to see you putting down a bedroll - always worth reminding oneself to do this regularly! Similarly the Heart of a Hero after getting corruption; too many folks forget this! Fantastic video - you've given me the confidence to try Red Mother for the first time ever. I really must stock up on fragments of power before next week 🙂 I've worked my Lian and Dalinsia up to level 20 and 15 respectively, so I've no more excuses!
Great video mate! For witchfire powder i suggest you go to the Mounds of the Dead at Ravaged Barrows (the one next to the one that contains the t4 taskmaster) also use hatchet (and/or i believe that the sickle also gives witchfire powder)... i usualy use picaxe. From what i saw, the wights in the Mounds give more per harvest then the ones in the Unnamed City.
you'll get loads of witchfire in dungeons in the next phase so no need to spend hours farming wights 44:01 to the right of this baby dragon there's always a blood crystal golem. If you don't need the meat use an axe on the dragons gives loads of leather
I really appreciate this guide series! I've only recently started playing the game and they've helped me learn more than I ever could've on my own in the same amount of time. I do have one question though. You appear to be able to open the full loot window whenever you want, how is that done? I don't mind being able to scroll through items and hit Q to take them but it'd be nice to open the full window when I want to take a look at what dropped in more detail without picking everything up.
@@AngaarUKAh... I remapped interact/use to F and that seems to have broken it because F is the take all key. Thank you! Edit: I have since found that I could remap take all by editing the input.ini file, so now the F key works.
You forgot the Snakey Boy inside the corrupted tomb thingy behind Warmaker Klael... I stand corrected. its worth a legendary weapon tho. Thank Crom you wont have to farm this area for a week and end up with nothing but Signs and table legs blueprints. Great vid anyways as always 🤘
It would be interesting to see if all the power fragment chests are still in their spots. I usually die to those bosses hence I have avoided the unnamed city.
I have also kind of paused progression until chapter 2 arrives been leveling companions, farming skeleton keys, and remaking everything I lost when I crashed in the wine cellar, at the final boss no less lol made me a sad bear but I can always rebuild
I am having trouble fining the Archivist, so I had to come back out of the un named city to watch this video again. I hope they haven't moved him in chapter 3.
That's the 1st time i've ever seen the sword of Crom in 5 or 6 years There is a Golem spawn where you killed the baby dragon, you were about 3 steps from it, 100% spawn I think
How do you know what base they will attack in a purge. I have a little base by the mounds of the dead to get star metal. When a purge was announced, i rode back to my main base near sepermeru. When i got there the purge was going on but no bad guys. Then i realized they were up at the mounds of the dead, where i had just left, had to ride all the way back.
Don't think there is any definitive info on that. Some say it is picked at random, some say it is the base you spend most time at, some say it is the base you are closest too when it triggers. I tend to only have 1 base large enough to be "purgeable" so can't really say. Anyway that all changes next week with the new purge system that you will activate from your Coffer.
hey man, I really enjoy your Conan guides! I have a question, my game stopped connecting to servers even in offline mode! by any chance do you know what the issue is? used to run smoothly! I'm on a laptop. Thanks
Animals tend to give more experience per kill. If they are high enough level and good gear you can do some world bosses, my suggestion would be the croc boss at noob river and locust queen behind Sepamaru
Hard to give a definitive answer, as it depends on the "friend" you have and how tough they are. I will always start with the first 5 levels on something easy, like crocs and shalebacks. Then you move on to rocknose, skeletons, wight's etc. A run round The Unnamed City is perfect with a tough enough "friend" due to loads of skeletons, etc giving lots of XP. General rule is to fight creatures as they give more XP than humans. Not aware of any potions that give extra XP boosts, but ensure your friends have the correct food to boost the stat you are looking to level up, i.e. Grilled Steak for Vitality, Gruel for Strength, Cooked Fish for Agility, etc
I like to start with the apes around Dagon's Embrace until I've enough confidence to start on skeletons. Plenty of skeletons in and around the Unnamed City to level up fastest.
@@AngaarUKThanks for getting back to me. ATM I have a bunch of Relic Hunters from the wine cellar and a Janos. I experienced my first purge recently and all of my noob Thralls didn't make it. I'm trying to equip and train my troops for future purge's.
@perceivedvelocity9914 Don't forget purges will be changing on Thursday. The relic hunters are good companions. My go to is still Dalinsia Snowhunter Ian and Freya are also solid companions.
I prefer medium armour as it gives me a decent balance between some damage reduction, but still some stamina usage and weight reduction. Although that looks like a basic bone shield, it is actually the Legendary Black Tusk shield that I found a few episodes back. 😄
Same as running vaults on Siptah, at least it give you something to do. Exiles is a great game but has 0 End Game replayability tbh. once you did all the dungeons you could just ignore them, unless you were farming Scraps to make the Godslayer Armour. This gives you a reason to redo them, though not much of a reason.
Angaar my friend. You gotta stop naming legendaries in your vids. I swear you say it and ill get it rofl. Predatory blade looks nice on the wall tho lol.
I could’ve gone out. But watching a Scottish dude play a Conan the barbarian game I don’t play, kicks major ass. 🍻
😂😂😂

Use a sickle on wights to pull witchfire powder from them
‘These Glow Blueing Guys’ hahah 😂 too funny

Great video, love the series!..Brute still does drop the pred blade btw I picked one up off him the other day.
Sure does
Thank you. I wouldn't have a clue where to go . Amazing guide.
Glad I could help! 😎

If you press E while looking at the target it opens their inventory

Sorry, not seen that one. If you are on Steam it would be worth verifying the local file integrity.
Could you tell me what's the best way to level up your Thralls? Do you know if there any potions or foods that will help a Thrall level up faster?

21st September
@@AngaarUK Are you going to do separate videos on the update and your next Beginner's Guide 2023 or roll them into one big video?
How are you not gaining corruption? Is it a setting?
Only certain areas of the Unnamed City have corruption, just pull the bosses, like Winged Death, out of those areas to clear spaces
wonder why you use medium armor and a low quality shild?
I prefer medium armour as it gives me a decent balance between some damage reduction, but still some stamina usage and weight reduction. Although that looks like a basic bone shield, it is actually the Legendary Black Tusk shield that I found a few episodes back. 😄
Still do not understand why we are the boss in the exiled lands when everyone is stronger than us, inclusive of our thralls.
Smarts not strength 🤣🤣🤣
I'm not a fan of the changes to legendary weapons. You'll have a ton of keys and either have to run dungeons repeatedly
Same as running vaults on Siptah, at least it give you something to do. Hey how is your hp so high mines only at 400 and I see your at 680
Putting attribute points into Vitality will raise your max HP, also my armour gives a boost to health also.

Your videos are awesome dude!
