I was just looking at the Big Tex site and they have this exact trailer in a 9998# config now. Dual brakes standard I think, and 5k axles. It's called the 10TV. I'm giving that thing a good hard look!
Hello sir and thanks for commenting. Mine has brakes on both and stops on a dime. I pull a vride and turf tiger with two push mowers, two trimmers and a blower behind an f150. I found that loving the turf tiger about three feet off the front and putting the vride sideways works perfect.
Heavier axles may require upgraded suspension, wheels and tires along with cross bracing on the trailer. I've been looking at this trailer to and wishing it had heavier axles.

You can twist / braid the chain a little bit to draw up the slack.
I wouldn’t recommend twisting it a lot because each twist in the chain it looses about 5% of its strength

Add air shocks to the truck
Talk to your dealer they might swap them out for little difference. That's why I try to order mine but nice trailer anyway
Nobody should go 5 days a week. Beautiful trailer. I’ve been looking at it for a year now.
Get a bed cover and throw your handheld equipment up in the bed
What did you pay for this trailer, in the market for one
