I lived in Cambodia in a Khmer household for 6 years, and I can truly say that this fantastic teacher is beyond any shadow of a doubt, a Khmer; his pronunciation is absolutely perfect, as is the sound system that he uses. I do find, however, that I need to slow the playback speed down to 75% and in some cases down to 50% because I am in learning mode. I feel sorry for native English speakers who can't possibly write the Khmer words in English in order to get the pronunciation 100% correct. All the different English accents make this impossible. I can write the Khmer words in German to get the pronunciation perfect in Khmer. So if I wrote all of the lessons out in German, I could read them back in a year's time and pronounce the words just like a native Khmer person.
Dara, I want to see you in Phnim Penh. I have learnt Khmer language from you a lot from you. Now I can speak Khmer a little. Thanks for your value Khmer lessons that you have taught on line.
It's depend on the situation. If you are on the street and then you say "k'nhom wung-wayng", it means you lost the street and if you are learning something and then you say "k'nhom wung-wayng", it means you are lost with what you are learning.

When you say "wung-wayng" is to lose like the street is that the same as you are lost? Would it make sense to say Khnoym wung-wayng?
