Super unlucky as the learner is obviously a good driver just goes to show luck definitely plays a massive part but as per DVSA standards you must not become the hazard on the road and cause any other driver to take action in this instance the BMW had priority but because the learner was position on the wrong side of the road the other driver had to brake unfortunately that is an automatic test fail. It’s disheartening when such things happen especially as it was only 1 serious and 1 minor but chin up dust yourself off and try again I’m sure you’ll pass if you haven’t already
@@patanahi123 No because if the examiner brakes it’s usually a dangerous fault. A good example would be when changing lanes if mirrors ain’t used the examiner doesn’t get involved at all. But you are still a danger on the road not checking if it’s safe to move across. Hope that makes sense 👍

how to avoid that serious fault?
You have to give yourself more time, don’t go to far over to the right and make sure no one is at the roundabout before deciding to turn in.
