He's still a puppy. Big dog like that aren't really finished growing until they are nearly THREE. Unlike most other huge dogs, Boz shepherds live a long life, frequently to 12 and even 15 years. Because they're an old, naturally occurring breed, not a recent one.

@@DonutTPOTer I’ve had everything from Danes to Cairns…the big dogs think they’re small and defenseless, while the small ones think they’re huge and scary.
@danielleking262 she was a euthanasia rescue and had dog aggression so I had to call ahead and make sure the bathing place had no other dogs and pay to use the place (she was too big for our tub but needed it after the shelter) so it was a lot of build up for her to just refuse to go in 😅 so we just cuddled and cried until we figured something out.
I LOVE that you took the time to build up trust with her and that you showed her it was okay to be scared of a new situation. This just warms my heart! I bet you two have the closest bond.
I have an 80 lb. GSD mix... he whines and cries like an abused infant, despite being spoiled every day of this life. Just a big ole baby who is only happy when he's getting cuddles.
I appreciate the fact she uses alterations in her voice/tone to reassure and calm the dogs she works with. In addition, she adjusts her approach to a dog depending on breed and temperament. In all, you can tell she loves dogs, is a professional at what she does and has patience beyond belief.
My husband is from Türkiye and these dogs just roam the streets of the little village his mom has a summer home in. They are fed and cared for by the community. They are so gentle and patient. With my kids I would walk to get fresh bread in the mornings and one would walk with us, stopping when we stopped and even waited outside the store for us to walk us back home.
I’m not personally familiar with the breed but there is another influencer who has a Turkish Boz named Az. Through his videos, he seems pretty similar to Kilo in personality but far more confident and calm. But that’s through the videos he posts.
Aksaray Malaklısı is huge too I did not know about this dog breed it's less known even in Turkey. Most of the Turkish dog breeds are variants of the Kangal why change a perfect design while you can calibrate it to your needs lol.
Omg I watch a homestead gentleman on you tube and his lsg dog is this breed. Amazing animal and his dog is well trained. He is still young & I think he is 170lbs.
Thank goodness the camera man was there to do the heavy lifting!! What sweetness in that big baby. And your interaction with him was adorable! Thank you for sharing this charming Sir with us!
Nate over on the Narrow Way Homestead UA-cam page has one that he uses as a guardian livestock dog. He's about 200lbs and is a good specimen for his breed.
Boz actually means light earth toned or ash toned like we call grizzly bears boz as well. But my god these shepherd dogs, including Kangal are the sweetest dogs!! Especially with children. I can guarantee almost anyone who met these dogs as a child will have the best memories of them. They can literally see through someone's heart and soul, they are VERY emotional and empathetic dogs. ❤
He is such a gentle giant! They say big dogs are too energetic, boisterous and hyper but look at this good boy!!! Well done to the owners you have one very sweet big horse dog!
I know people with Boz shepards. They are very sweet dogs, that need a lot of socializing as pups. I have a Turkish Kangal as my service dog. She is amazing and it took a long time to socialize her.
Omg he gorgeous!!!! A beautiful big baby with a perfect temperament. I love your channel and love seeing breeds that we don’t have many of in Australia
My partner has been researching Boz's for years and has convinced to me get one as our next dog. It's so cool to see such an uncommon breed in your videos! This jsut reassured me how gentle and big babies they are.

They are awesome dogs! As this video shows the are gentle GIANTS yet protective of their "charges" whether it is family or livestock. He was hilarious!
I was wondering when I would see this breed on your channel. I spent time working on a farm who had these and I fell in love with the breed. Pictures and video don’t do them justice because they are HUGE! My all time favorite was a 190 lb male named tiny. There were few bears in already
Yes especially those cute highland cows with the long red hair 😍
Is he the biggest dog we've ever seen on the chanel? 😮
That is a great looking horse right there. Very sweet.
