Since I learn Chinese alone at home using an app, questions often remain unanswered. In your videos I find the answers to the intricacies of the Chinese language explained understandably and clearly. With deep gratitude I send greetings from Germany.
I studied Chinese 40 years ago in high school. I discovered your videos and I love them. You do a great job of explaining! Thank you! 我 40 年前在高中學習中文。 我發現了你的視頻,我喜歡它們。 你解釋的很好! 謝謝! (with a little help from google translate)
Hi, Yimin 🥰 Thanks for the lesson! I want to know what did you use 种人as a measure word instead of 个人? Does exist any difference between both of them? Can I say: 这个女人在吃饭? I mean, 个 as a measure word for people? Because 个 is a common measure word, right?
hi Pamela, yes you are right about 个,and your sentence is right 👍👍👏🤗 to answer your question, 一个人,is"one person", 一种人is "a kind of people ", eg, 他们是同一种人, "they are the same kind of people " hope it helps, don't hesitate to ask if you have more doubt 🤗🤗🍀
this is just how people usually pronounce it in real life, there are few words which people pronounce another way in real life rather that the way it is marked in dictionary. 😋
yes my friend, you are 100% right. congrats. thank you for watching the video and for leaving the comment, I love reading from you guys. 🥰🥰🥰 have a nice day
Thank you for your explanation. I struggle with the difference between „zhe“ as in this and „na“ as in that. Could someone please be so kind to explain the difference? I am thinking that if I point to something on the shelf, I would use „zhe“, while if I point to something directly on the table before me, I would use „na“. The app I am learning with uses my native language‘s equivalent to „that“ for both characters, so I cannot tell when I should use one or the other. It drives me crazy. 🤣
Hi Lheena5678. In english, "this" refers to something near to you and "that" refers to something farther away. So your example is backwards. The item up on the shelf would be "that" and something on the table would be "this".

老师好! When should you pronounce 这个 as zheige instead of zhege? or is that just an accent thing? 谢谢。
-潘玉珍
i hear it pronounced as zheige by my old mandarin teacher (who’s taiwanese) and several netflix films. I can’t find videos that explain this :((
this is just how people usually pronounce it in real life, there are few words which people pronounce another way in real life rather that the way it is marked in dictionary. 😋
@@yiminchinese thank you so much! i’ve been confused about this for so long 😅

Great job Lao shi
So we have to remember all words that we want to refer to like this car, this cat , this cloth?
How would it get in the right order (我不喜欢这)? 1:27
it's not the order which is wrong, it's messing 个,it should be 这个😋
这→⻌文。文→亠㐅。文→变--交,纹,刘老师,齐全
谢谢
不客气啦🥰 🥰 🥰
