We loved our time on the Norwegian Cruise Lines Gem. We took advantage of the Mandara Spa, the NCL Gem Thermal Suite, and the NCL Gem premium restaurants Le Bistro, La Cucina, Moderno, and Cagneys Steakhouse.
We loved our time on the NCL Gem with Norwegian Cruise Line. We did an 11 day cruise from New York City to Bermuda, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico and Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.
On the NCL Gem we stayed in an inside cabin.

This ship looks very well laid out to me and inviting. NCL has always been a value in the industry.
I really like he Jewel class ships. I have taken several cruises on the Gem and it is a great size so you can get where you need to go without needing to take the elevator. Great tour.

They definitely cleaned her up. I was on September 2021 and althoughI had a good time, the ship was definitely looking a little rough around the edges. Hopefully they did something with the staterooms too
dec 4th Rome-NYC will be my 5th cruise on the Gem-and she does look to be spiffed up since 2021

A hidden gem…very tasteful…subdued. So few people on board. Looks like less than 75%
After being on the NCL Prima, this one looks very dark to me, and sometimes, outdated. Now I am in doubt, whether to book it or not.

there’s definitely a lack of fun stuff to do on this boat, mainly just the pool, casino, teen area and that’s it. nothing special or exclusive really

What time of year is this? Not many people on the ship. Great tour though! Thank you ❤
At the 3 minute mark, you can see that they are docked in Bermuda at the Royal Navy Dockyard, so the ship would be more empty mid-day while docked, because most folks are off the ship exploring Bermuda.
How on earth did you get it with so few people any where? Thanks for the tour.
Typically when you are in port (this looks like Bermuda) a majority of the passengers go ashore. It is the best time to be on the ship as you practically have it to yourselves.
Dumb question: are the cabin power outlets compatible with US devices?
2 are US plugs and 1 is a EU plug. best option is to buy a converter for that plug to be able to plug more stuff in
Covid time was empty
Israel us at war yet as of today passengers have not been made aware of the ship's alternative itinerary. NCL has no transparency. We can't inform our credit card companies where we are going. They won't give us our money back. In the future "Never Norwegian "😢
