Michael Andretti - IMS Speaker Series - November 6, 2019

Andretti, joined by moderator and IMS Hall of Fame member Bob Jenkins, will entertain fans from 5:30-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, including time for autographs. Andretti was inducted in the IMS Hall of Fame in 2012, but his status as a top-tier IndyCar competitor continues to grow.
The son of 1969 Indianapolis 500 winner Mario Andretti, Michael owns Andretti Autosport, which in a relatively short period of time has become one of the most successful NTT IndyCar Series teams in history. Andretti Autosport has won five Indianapolis 500s and four series championships. The team competes globally, also fielding entries in Indy Lights, FIA Formula E, Americas Rallycross, and Virgin Australia Supercars.
As a driver, Andretti endured heartbreak at Indy: He never won despite leading 431 laps in 16 Indy 500 starts - more career laps led than four-time winner Rick Mears. He retired from driving after the 2007 Indianapolis 500 with nine top-10 finishes at the “500,” plus 42 CART IndyCar series wins and the 1991 series championship. Andretti drove in the 1993 Formula 1 championship as a teammate to Ayrton Senna at Team McLaren, finishing third at the Italian Grand Prix.

RIP Bob. As for the video. Penske is IndyCar God. He knows what to do and what is right. This has shown the past couple years.
