Great video! Suggestion for future sound exchange sessions. Bands you like now that you didn’t when you were younger. And vise versa. Have a great weekend!!
Aloha Brendon, Thank you for sharing your new Cd's & record album purchases live at sound exchange, it's so cool to hear Anthony in the background talking to customers. Thanks also for showing the store, never knew how big it was. I thought it was a lot smaller from your videos with Anthony at the cashiers desk. Hopefully you'll give us a tour of his store layout, you most likely did one on your early videos, but I been watching 👀 just a few years & don't recall one of sound exchange, would love to see what the store looks like. Thanks again Brendon for all your amazing videos & reviews. Mahalo Ed
It’s fun to find a haul of one band at the record store and bring the lot home. Recently did that on a band I was not sure of, but saw 3 used CDs and grabbed the lot. Nice to compare one against the other
Like seeing your pick ups at Sound Exchange. Some cool finds! As always I find things to pick up from your videos. Hey....no rock tee.. must be work attire😊.
Nice Score at the Record Store. I'll have to look into The Donnas. I just found a band called Plush, they freaking rock. But I am guessing you've already heard of them.
I got into the Donna's for a brief period of time when they were the musical guest on Saturday Night Live with host Ray Liotta in January 2003 I remember watching it at my ex-girlfriend's house.
Oh my God I love The Donnas soooo much. "Gold Medal" is my absolute favorite album from them, although I think it kind of failed to reach the heights that Atlantic Records hoped it would. The title track is so good. Also "Revolver". Every track on it moved me when I first heard it back in 2006.
The Donna’s were great! Spend the Night phenomenal. Actually, all the ones you picked up I already have. And if you like The Donnas, check out the new British all-female group, The Hot Damn! Love their new (first) album, which just came out.
I'm anxious to hear how you like that new House of Lords disc. I also liked the 2022 album Saints and Sinners and I've already listened to Full Tilt Overdrive myself. I'll hold my opinion for your review on that one.
This month Brendon has bought 22 (or more) albums. Meanwhile this month i got rid of 18 albums from my collection that i don't care about anymore. Collecting goes both ways. All the power to us !
Saw Sponge open for Spin Doctors and Gin Blossoms back in 2002 at Kentucky Kingdom on the New World Disorder Tour. See that they do a Morrissey cover on there as well.
Fun video. When do you typically listen to music? Besides in your car. Curious if you sit for a couple hours playing music and having some beers. Or if you just play music as you’re going about the house doing other stuff.
See link for a video going into detail about how I listen to my collection which at the time was 11,000 CDs so this goes back a couple years now but is still relevant to your question ua-cam.com/video/FOwLCGmbLQE/v-deo.htmlsi=TQFwfFaWTrHFjZDq
@@BrendonSnyder awesome! Will check it out. Thanks, man! Just clicked it tonight in my queue for later ( got the fsu game on for now:) and see you here on the Rush blah blah blah shirt. lol. One of my favorites tshirts I own.
Hey Brendon, cool to know you like Sponge. I recommend lead singer Vinnie Dombroski's other band Crud. They have 2 albums ..Devil At The Wheel and On Monster Island. Check them out.
Brendon, Have you heard of Dirty Penny? They only put out two albums, but their first album "Take It Sleezy (2007)" is great. If you haven't heard it, I recommend you check it out. I think the band started out as a Poison or Motley Crue tribute band.

Always my favorite place to go to on Fridays and on my vacation days .
Excellent video about your new finds. 😎👍

Great old Detroit bands!

Great finds. Cool to see you getting into the Donnas. Been a fan since Spend The Night. Looking forward to House of Lords and Sponge.
Man that Amorica background vinyl .. takes me back to High School . Probably my second favorite record by Crowes ..
Mike Watt on the wall. 👍
Not on my Bingo card today was Brendon saying "Broke my cherry." Great video as always!
Haha…I’m a different animal when I’m at the music store 😂

Wow ! i was shocked that there is a new MC5 record coming out! I will certainly check it out. Thank you once again Brendon ! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
It’s the MC1. Wayne is the only one on there. It’s really disrespecting the band’s legacy.
Ohh ok i didn't know, thank you jpcastrianni😅

Gold Medal was the first Donnas CD I got. I also have Spend the Night. Great albums.
New House of Lords is really good.

Did not realize the store was that big , man someday gotta make the trip over the border and check it out ..,
Yeah tons of stuff everywhere! I get lost in it for hours every time I go.

I LOVE the Donnas
KISS "Sonic Boom" vinyl on the shelf! 😮

Was that KISS Sonic Boom lp on the wall original press or counterfit?
Anthony would have to confirm but that wall is reserved for rare or high valued albums and I would be willing to bet that was an original pressing.
Good eye! I had to search for it. lol.

The Donnas was a killer band. Good musicans(my favorite was their drummer Tory)and i like all their albums.
Would have loved to seen you get Anthony fired up by saying The Donnas sound like a hair metal band.
Glam metal. Brendon can't stand it being called hair metal - although Slash is said to have coined the term.
0:35 You did it again!!! Here's a trick. Take a pen and a sheet of paper, and write it down, a hundred times minimum: Coviello, Coviello, Coviello...
Hahah that’s what I thought to! Brendon should just call him “Anthony C” haha
Where is this record store?
At the beginning gave the location…Wayne, NJ
Is it Coviell-OOOOOO … you said Coviell-EEEEEEE … now I can’t even remember how to pronounce his last name! Northern New Jersey loves you :)
Don’t show vinyl hahaha you got me buying cd’s again!!!
Now it’s time to come along for the vinyl too!
Hi Brendon I would be honored if you check out content, I gave you a shout out my friend! We met several times at Sound Exchange! Thank you my friend!
