I was in the immersion blender market for a while and ended up picking up the Vitamix while it was on a big sale. It's been a great hand blender. Like you said in the video, I expected big things from it from my experience using Vitamix blenders in the past (Although I'm more of a Blendtec blender guy). I've owned several cheaper hand blenders so Vitamix is a big upgrade and I couldn't be happier with it. I think the only drawback for many would be the purchase price.
I'm glad you're loving the Vitamix Immersion Blender. I really think it's worth paying for if you're going to be using it regularly. But like you say, when you can pick up a hand blender for $20, people struggle to see the point in investing in quality kitchen gear like Vitamix. And yeah, you can't go wrong with Blendtec either, though I'm not sure if they've entered the hand blender market yet.
It's a great immersion blender for sure. But like you alluded to, maybe a bit too expensive for most people. We try to factor in cost while still including premium options where possible.
The packaging people at Peach Street need to edit better. It's regular not Regural. Also it's Blue Steel not Blue Steal. And I caught these errors while hungover. Who know what I missed.

Good Spot! And it's a good job the actual immersion blender is better than the packaging.
Well nothing like showing a bunch of stock footage from each manufacturer and then reading the literature they sent you best videos of joke
