How to repair a damaged zip

Repairing a damaged or faulty zip can be very simple.
All you need is a plier to apply pressure by pinching the mechanism together, bringing it closer to grab hold of the teeth to put them in place while pulling the zipper upwards.
If this does not work it means that the fabric whether above or underneath is obstructing the zip and getting caught, if this is the case all you need to do is to sew the fabric down a quarter of an inch away from the zip by topstitching.
This will help to stop the fabric from rolling back on itself.
If there is another problem, for example, if any of the zip teeth are broken then you have a problem with to zip itself needing to be replaced thank you for watching this video.
