"Twist & Shout" must surely be the "Best Cover of All Time" from the 'Fabs'.(why is it I get all 'teary-eyed' when I see the old b&w photos from the beginning...with the 'stage-suits' from '64?) There's one photo where they're all seated looking to the left, 'dressed in their best' and all smiling...that fucker never fails to 'tear me up'.WHY? (was it all 'just a dream'...some fantasy of my own that I've created? if it is...then why does it hurt?) I don't really understand it at all...as if somehow 'I'm there, and I'm sharing how great they all feel'. The photo is obviously 'staged'...but what I see is not 'staged'. They look supremely confident and content..."We told you we would make it and isn't it grand?" YES...you did 'make it' and yes, it's grand!
Sounds more like a quality fake to my ears. This is a slightly different arrangement than usual and the Lennon here sings a few different notes. Also the audience sounds very clear as if it were recorded using modern equipment.
How many other live recordings of 1962 era Beatles do you have to know what their arrangement of "Twist and Shout" was at the time? Some crowd sounds were clearly pasted on at the beginning and end of the song to enhance the video presentation. Do you think singers sing every song exactly the same way each time?
Genial!! Para mi la mejor versión en directo de Twist and shout. Imposible igualar esta explosión de energía y vitalidad.

“Hey come ed" I'm a Beatles collector and to be true to this period you need Pete Best in the mix
Yes...but this is Ringo with the band at the Star Club in December 1962...

Good sound of RCA VICTOR
The drums in this version was not play by Ringo Starr , they were play by Pete Best
Pete Left beatles in august 62 this recording is from december 1962
this was the "Rock" band the Beatles, not the boy band they later became when Epstein made Paul the focus of the band..
