I envy that community of friends and neighbors that Rose has. Everyone is so kind, helpful and supportive of each other. That makes for a peaceful and productive life.
That's what everywhere in china, you get. I have my best friends ever in china in Liaoning and Zhejiang provinces (same province than rose)😊
This is how christians is supposed to be , when i was growing up in the 70's to the 80's it was love ,love and love of Christ all the way but today is something else . may God almighty help us his children to walk in his perfect love , amen❤❤❤❤❤ .

Yes she's a wonderful friend. My neighbor recently had a girl after 4 boys one born last year. I gave the baby several gifts none as sweet as these. I'm going to have to go back to the " drawing board!"

When I went to university in Beijing and in Xi’an I never once ate alone in a restaurant. I was always invited to join a table of a group of friends or a family to share with them. At first I felt uncomfortable as none would let me pay but as time went on I learned that this was a gesture which came from the heart and was done with great pleasure and a gesture of hospitality. I wish that such gestures were accepted as such here in the west. Sadly there are too many people who are not so open and honest or have an agenda of some type. I truly miss the warmth and friendliness of the people. I learned to cook true Chinese food simply by asking the aunties at the market how to use an ingredient. I would very much like to return the sentiments and gestures one day, to pay forward the genuine hospitality I was shown.

As an African we don’t really see these kinds of Chinese people but Rose your family is truly lovely. I love old gifts that are handed down that means a great deal. This was nice.
So true. It is because my Chinese neighbors here in America are so kind. But the ones I grew up with in the Caribbean were not very nice to the locals and I hear people in African countries say the same. Makes me wonder if it’s a different kind of upbringing they have from these people.

What a generous, sweet lady. Xiaoya really made their day with her gifts. Wu was especially happy that the crib would not pose a threat to the baby's health by having any toxic chemicals included in its construction. It is so well made and cleverly designed that it deserves to be handed on for further use. It's nice that they are planning for the visit of Rose's mother and Xiaoya will give her a very knowledgeable tour of the region as it's her profession. It is always a pleasure to see how Rose has integrated into the community and is thought so highly of. Always ends with a delicious meal... makes me hungry 😊

As I read through the comments sometimes I see where people say that they "envy" Rose or her family. Words have power. Instead of envying someone of the things that they have or been given, use the word you "admire", or you're happy for or you're thankful. Envy or jealousy is not good ,and you don't want to project that on to this beautiful family. Ask for the things that you need. Be kind and caring and goo things will happen for you too. Please just don't be envious or jealous of anyone. We don't know all of the hard work that Rose and her husband went through to get to where they are today. Rose and her husband have been working hard behind the scenes and now all of their hard work is being rewarded. We never know what a person goes through to receive the gifts that they have now.
