MASH ran for 11 seasons and 256 episodes in which there are so many moments for each character. I could not add them all without having you watch long, long show!!! I hope you enjoy this series, part 3 will look at Trapper John and Father Mulcahy!

shes the kind of nurse everyone needs but everyone forgets. for she cares but i loved that episode and i think your thinking of the same episode the one at 9:13. and the same episode where she comforted the dude even though tho she knew he wasnt going make it
When the 8055th(the inspiration for the 4077th) was disbanded in 1997, Kelly Nakahara(Nurse Kellye) was the ONLY CAST MEMBER from the T.V. show to attend. The other principal actors were asked, but, refused to go for one reason or another. ALSO, in some of the earlier episodes, Kelly was listed as NURSE ABLE or NURSE CHARLIE. RIP KELLY NAKAHARA.😪😪😪✌✌✌✌

Kellye was truly an underappreciated and under used character and was marvelously played
I loved Nurse Kelly. She FIRST appeared as an extra in season 1 but a couple seasons later, developed into a very sweet character.
I loved Klinger! Flagg was one of my favorite recurring characters. I wish he’d been in a couple more episodes, especially after Charles joined.
Hot lips was in the tub when klinger peeled off the clothes from being overheated and barged in on her!😂🤣

If you didnt notice. When klinger has rollers in his hair..u dont see his hair curled in them. Culers are only pinned on head..lol
It was nice they gave her Central episode because a character of nurse Kelly was always the one people didn't really see if you know what I mean, she kind of represented all of us Duff's out there, you know as you are designated ugly fat friend whether we're ugly or fat or not any of those things... And I felt like she represented all of us who are not seen, or who are seen better never thought much about, and I like how she had it out with Hawkeye. The odd thing is that I read somewhere that she was studying nursing, and that she was also an artist. I always wondered if any of it was true, but I hoped the nursing part was, it must not have been because I cannot find anywhere words written that she got a nursing degree I did read that she was an accomplished artist so I guess that part was true. I remember reading the part of her becoming going back to study nursing around the time the show ended, and I was a very impressionable teenager at the time people always ask how can I remember something so long ago I used to have what was called an eidetic or photographic memory, but an accident has taken a lot of things from me including the ability to properly use my hands and legs it took some of my memory of more recent times away from me, and has forced me to use voice to text for everything. I can remember things that are beyond 30 years ago as if they happened yesterday but I cannot remember things that happened with in the last 20 or so years. I guess you can't believe everything you read in the newspapers.

Jamie far was only to be in a couple episodes, but he was so good they just kept writing him in the scrip. If I got this right, want a actor, of course I think all of them are, of course this is just my opinion

Nurse Kellye was never as appreciated as she should have been and yes, she was "Cute as hell"!
I really likes nurse Kellye. I was she had a bigger role. That scene with Hawkeye was a very good scene

I have been a MASH devotee since I was just a boy back in the 70s! I have seen every single episode multiple times,
and still I am able to laugh, cry and cringe with these wonderful actors, to this day! What an amazingly talented ensemble! However, I do have my favorite, and LEAST favorite characters! No disrespect intended towards the recently deceased actress, but even as a child, I thought her acting while playing the part of Kelleye was very weak at best, and completely unbelievable at worst. Of course, she was up against some of the greatest acting talents in American cinema! But compared with Alda, Freeman, Burghoff and the rest of the crew, she was no match...she was a beginner in a high school play...comparatively speaking...
My favorite characters, those actors who best portrayed a sense of emotional believability and culpability, especially in the context of such a bleak and awful setting, include:
Colonel Potter (he could always force a tear out of me), Father Mocayhe (especially in later episodes), Hawkeye (of course - Alda was absolutely brilliant, especially in the final episode), Radar (his facial expressions alone, as he announced the death of Colonel Blake, sold me forever on how extremely talented Burghoff truly was), and finally Winchester, who was at times a rather shallow character, but in later episodes, became one with such powerful emotional depth!
MASH will ALWAYS be one of my favorites of all time!

Sidney Freedman!
The actor who portrayed the soldier/psychiatrist was so damned talented, so able to harness our emotions, that some MASH-heads consider Sidney to be a major supporting role, and I have to concur! He absolutely dominated each and every episode he appeared in! Amazingly talented!

Cheez, they left out the best part- when Klinger told Zales that if he had a dog that looked like Zales he’d shave the dog’s butt and teach him to walk backwards! It’s a classic-how did they forget that!?
