    I can empathize with the driver situation. Heck it doesn’t even need to be a custom truck. My boring daily GMC beater this past week I’ve had to dodge two cars a day. 😱 texters ragers and cagers,,, it’s life. Nice to see a Scout with a logical engine swap and not jacked to the moon. Nice work.

      @feoxorus 10 місяців тому

      What exactly is "logical" about pulling a time-proven, although underpowered, engine that's as simple as they get, and replacing it with an overpriced and overcomplicated diesel?

    Nice ride, I'm in the middle of swapping nv4500 to the tr4050 and the np241 transfer case to a 2 speed atlas. All behind a 4B Cummins. The vehicle is 1962 Ford F100. Your video let's me know there is light at the end of the tunnel.

    I would like one of these in my 1954 IH R110 pickup truck, with the 5 speed trans, rather an auto transmission if it could work. My truck is in excellent condition, it had a frame off restoration a few years ago.

      @ramshung Lizard skin on both sides. Actually no. Old cast iron engines seem to heat soak the metal way worse than modern stuff.

    I have always noticed the conversion of Jeeps to the 2.8 swap and thought about converting my 1941 Dodge WC12 which would also require Dana axles and transmission. Is this the type of project that you would consider taking on?

      I hate to hear that you had an issue. I do know of at least one other failure however it was resolved under warranty. That being said I think that there are plenty other swaps that have survived long term use and abuse. Time will definitely tell though.
