«Eno became interested in ambience when he suffered an automobile accident that sent him to the hospital in the mid-1970s. His friend Judy Nylon visited Eno in the hospital and left an album playing quietly before leaving. The sound blended with the rain outside the room and, unable to get up and adjust the volume, Eno allowed it to create an ambience aligned with his fluctuating attention. The album Discreet Music (1975), per Eno's own judgement, was his first foray into ambient music.»
Your sensitivity towards art shows in your videos, your cinematography, the music that plays in the background, the quotes that you use and the historical figures you decide to follow. Yet all its subtle, and creates a soothing atmosphere that never fails to make my day. Its an aesthetic that's not too common nowdays amongst all of this noise. Please, don't stop making content. At a point in which I need to not lose my focus, you're a source of inspiration. Your content always makes my day. Thank you so much for that.
Hey Mariam! Please please please never stop making these videos!!! They help me so much, altough im a guitarist. I just love the energy of your videos, they always help me gain motivation in tougher times. And this is content that literally only you do, (maybe Tiffany Poon, but her content is a little different) so please dont be discouraged if a video of yours doesnt do as well as 12 hours of practicing. You help a lot of people with this, I sent artistic escapism to a pianist friend, and they said that was just what they needed at the time. So please never stop, lots of love 😇
The story about Chopin's hard work and the message to always fulfil our own expectations is a great reminder to why I started my music journey as well. Thank you 🙏(Love the editing!)
This channel is a breath of fresh air on here! Thank you so much for putting in the effort and producing these little videos. They're so inspiring as well, even though I'm a writer and not a musician. Much love from Austria :)
Your channel is very comforting, I find your passion for music and self growth really lovable :) It's a very beautiful reminder of why I chose to pursue music myself, thank you also nice tortise!
Miriam, thank you so much for your artistical videos. It is the only piano channel I know, which isn't academically orientated but instead art itself. You really manage to capture the truth and beauty of living with music. Thank you!
Just found your videos! I love your content and hope that you do more. I’m a Jazz saxophonist and I enjoy getting lost in practice for 4-12 hours at a time. It’s such great meditation. It’s so refreshing to see such a young student living the life of an artist. Keep up the great work!
I may not be an introvert at heart i still feel connected to this video. i truly love your artistic style you show in these videos, you dont find that anywhere else on this.. crazy platform haha
HAHA that bowie video was in my feed a few days ago, and there he is spittin facts again in another video. Love your thoughts, your aesthetic is giving lower case letters
This hits a sweet spot! The feeling and emotion that you convey through your videos are rare and therefore much appreciated. Not only I feel connected to the whole story on a level of being artist myself, but also on the level of feeling united and merged with the world you deliver. After all we all live in the same world. Even Chopin and every other composer, they lived seeing the same colours just in different time. This! Definitely a gift for everyone, and introverts especially
I reeeeeally love your videos continue doing them it’s so unique and artistic. Really appreciate what you said about Chopin it personally motivates me towards playing and composing :)
I really do hope you can make videos more often. It's so hard to find people I can relate to. I hope one day to be able to travel widely so that I can find more people like you. But for now, the internet is the best thing I have. Did you ever feel lonely or alienated while growing up, before you went to uni/conservatory where you were around likeminded people? Do you still ever feel lonely even at the conservatory? Or have you finally found your tribe?
I had and still have friends who have same interests and I'm very lucky because of that! (but it is not really easy to find them, hope you'll do) Thank you for watching ♥️
I began my piano journey recently (a casio keyboard, model CT-S1) I do not play the keys well, yet. I adore your videos, the themes and cinematography are amazing! :D
Hi Hi hope you will you recovery well from your injury, Your to do list is scary, "try to sleep early for the sake of debussy" The important is "try" XD. - cup of coffee play pretty well piano ! Still enjoying your cut plan a lot ! I don't know why but i love it Maybe i will liking choping with this quote ^^
Your city seems so beautiful I just want to point that out Your videos make me wanna get into piano, I play a little bit of guitar but I mostly just produce music in a daw with midi. That’s some way for me to express my creative itch, but I do feel as if I need to do more with it. Get to a point where I can get lost in the piano. I would definitely have to start off with keys though. I always enjoyed piano more than guitar, so I wonder why I chose guitar a few years back

That's exactly what I'm talking about! 💌
Your being alone in such huge, quiet surroundings, is a kind of metaphor to your near monastic devotion to your craft. Quite admirable.

can you tell me which Chopin book (with the great sign on the cover) it's in the beginning? tsm

I feel like i would help me a lot to have an acutal book instead of having to read through tons of pages and yt videos all day.:))
