If you also put a paperform on before the dual form, it will make the underneath of your nail come out perfect. No gel under your nail on your skin, and no extra filing. I find if I cut the paper form down just enough so that the dual form is longer than the paperform it helps to keep better hold and control.
I've always thought that would be the way to go, but never saw anyone else mention that method. Thanks for your comment. 💙
You just confirmed ny need to purchase a pack of forms for this reason. I just did a set of gelx nails and I hate the glue globs under. I bought poly and liquid builder bc I wanna try them all and well temu makes it affordable.
How come the fake nail doesn’t stick to her nail after curing?
@shadesofshea88 because it's not a fake nail, it is a dual form and is supposed to be removed. The builder gel applied to the underneath of the form is what creates the nail extensions.
If you heard a scream, that was me because I was so excited to finally see someone using ALL these products together in a video!! I received my order a few days ago, which included the Dual Forms and the BG in a bottle along with other items. Unfortunately, my Gel Top Coat came broken, so I emailed Dodi and am waiting to hear back from her.

I just learned how to remove my gel using a ceramic bits and no soaking. Total game changer for me! I totally understand why you don’t like soaking, I didn’t like it either because it’s so long and it makes me waste so much acetone!
Nail glue remover works well on this area too. It even conditions the nails to make them stronger.

You’re very relaxing to listen to 😂 Ok, please don’t laugh at me for asking this question but I have to ask 🙏🏻 A while back I bought poly gel and the dual forms. Will builder gel work with the same forms OR are the triple D dual forms a different material? 🤷🏻♀️ The triple D builder gel is thicker than the IBD builder gel I have which gives more control. I like the look of the triple D product and I need a mini light, oh and those clips. It’s a pain trying to hold them in place 🤭 Thank you so much, I have subscribed ❤👏🏻💅🏻🇬🇧
Do you add a top varnish
It looks so thin but they always look great when you show them at the end. I can’t tell if they are thin or not lol
The middle part between my real nail and the builder gel where it connects always comes out thin and tends to bend. How can I keep it thick to where it’s not thin and weak.

Jessey what about that darker peach that is underneath the nail extension, the other ones don't do that (leave a dark pink color under the nail) so how could you do that one without having that dark peach color underneath? Do you understand what I'm saying? I want to just pick it out from underneath there LOL
Hi Michelle! Yes you can definitely thin that part out with a brush before you cure it to slightly diffuse the peach color, but I think not totally eliminate it?😅 I just did not try to spread the product even more since the BG in the bottle has a thinner consistency, I felt like if I try to spread it further I might remove the color and not have as much product to support the structure of the nail, if that makes sense? 😅
You can also definitely file the underpart with a drill and take as much product as you like so it won’t look darker? i think it will be alot easier that way, compared to thinning it out when its not yet cured. I hope I answered your question😅

@@noelthompson8932 have you also tried polygel with dual forms as its a thicker consitency than normal gel same curing process and prep only difference is its more of a patting motion

How do you remove the dip powder without removing the builder gel?
Hi, I use UNT Peel Base over the builder gel so I just pop off my nails😅
But you can file the color down until the Builder Gel, Because when you soak it in acetone the Builder Gel will come off together with your dip.
