America's Next Forward-Deployed Aircraft Carrier will Carry F-35C Stealth Jets to Counter China

- The next Forward-Deployed Naval Forces (FDNF) aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN-73) will sail from Norfolk, Virginia on April 25, 2024, down the US coast, through the Caribbean Sea, around Cape Horn at the southern tip of South America and into the Pacific Ocean, then to California and on to Japan.
The carrier will relieve USS Ronald Reagan (CVN-76) as the FDNF aircraft carrier during a historic carrier swap at Naval Air Station North Island, California.
The carrier will embark with a Strike Fighter Squadron 147 (VFA-147) operates the F-35C Lightning IIs from Carrier Air Wing 7. The VFA-147 will be transferred to the Carrier Air Wing 5 at Iwakuni Air Base, Japan, and will be the first forward-deployed F-35C squadron in the U.S. Navy.

The F-22 will always be my number one, and with these newer upgrades it's getting will make it even more capable, plus testing the IRST pods that will more than likely be included in the 6th gen fighters for both the Air Force and Navy.
That being said, I know the F-35 is a flying computer vs the Raptor, but that's the difference in how much technology has changed! But I know the new drop tanks they're testing for the F-22 will eventually be configured to be used on the F-35 C variant, maybe with an older stealth coating if they really need to drop them and not be able to go back and retrieve them, that way it'll still have low observable coating on it but nothing like let's say the Chinese got from the F-117 Nighthawk since that's really old.
It's unfortunate that happened in the first place, could've maybe prevented it but never really know, but flying the same path every time, it was only a matter of time.
I'm looking forward to the TR3 and Block 4 both to be added to the F-35, I *think* maybe that Pratt figured out how to do what's needed without a whole new engine, I haven't kept up as much as I should be, military equipment is one of a very few things I can geek out on and watch videos on hah.

VFA-102とかVAQ-141とか最近知って好きになったんだけど、ロナルド・レーガンと一緒に本国帰っちゃう・・・？
それとも航空団は岩国配備だからそのまま空母だけ変わってそこにVFA-147が仲間入りする感じ？

アップありがとうございます👍F-35Cはカタパルト搭載の大型空母を持っている米軍専用機的な。中国軍がカタパルト搭載の３隻目の空母の試験航海に対応したのでしょうか。
日本としては南西諸島の基地強化でF-35Aの集中配備とミサイル防衛でしょうか。尖閣諸島をこの地域の拠点基地として日米が共同利用する大きな基地を作ってもらいたいものです。そうすれば漁師の人たちも安心して操業出来るようになるでしょうね。中国の嫌がらせは漁船を沈めるくらいやりますからね。

日本も大東亜戦争などはじめずにうまく立ち回っていたらアメリカに等しい大型原子力空母など保有していたのだろう。
うまいこと蒋介石に悪者に仕立て上げられてしまった。
あの時日本はもっと軍事力をアピールできていれば大規模な戦闘へ発展していなかったのではないか？
結局、弱いと思われていたので戦争へ発展したのだろうと思う。
アメリカも数か月で終わると思っていただろう。
日本もアメリカの工業力を知っていたので、アメリカとの直接対決は避けていたのだが、一部の跳ね返りがアメリカ領土を攻撃直悦対決の引き金を引いてい待った為に戦場が太平洋まで広がり部隊を拡散せざる負えなくなってい待った。
本来であれば大東亜と名前の通りマレーシア、シンガポール、インドネシアなどを拠点に遂行する予定だった。
白人国からアジアの解放と石油確保が目的だったので太平洋は関係がなくパラオや太平洋の島々に部隊を配備す予定もなかった。
すべてが真珠湾攻撃により余りかとの直接対決をせざる負えなくなったために太平洋の島々を抑えることになってしまった。
大日本帝国連合艦隊を保有していた我が国日本が、これほどまで弱体化させられるとは・・・
いずも、かが、の空母かも空母とは程遠いい哨戒機も載せる事も出来ない小規模の軽空母頼りなさ過ぎる。
