I agree...if a subscription is going to send complexion products, you should be able to pick it!
I got all the same things except for the last item. Im very happy with it all. I love getting these boxes because theres no other way I'd have this much good skin care without ipsy.
Face oil is actually ok for girls with oily skin! Use it as the last step to keep all your other products on, it works like a barrier
Cool, I’d never thought of using face oil as a barrier for my other products. I like this idea and ima try it tonight.

Hi Katrina & Rachel! I got the Pomelo hair care products too and they smell divine! Both pretty good boxes, but I agree that foundations/concealers/powders should be matched correctly to your profile.

I looked it up on their site and the yensa f2 is the lightest shade in warm undertone. F1 is lightest cool undertone. The new quiz when they combined ipsy and boxy does ask undertone. You may want to check that you took the updated quiz.
Hello Ladies, I have to say i completely agree about the complextion product. They dont get as technical as they need to when it comes to those kinds of products. They should be choice. Nice boxes ladies. Tfs Have a beautiful evening 😊
Rachel, if the facial oil is too much or don't work for ur face, then u can always use it on ur body. Also most facial oils that are made for ur face, they use ingredients that will be nicely absorbed into the skin. But for some reason u still don't like it, then use it on ur body cause ur body will absorb it faster and should work well.

I chose the shampoo and I love it! BUT, I didn't get the conditioner because it wasn't one of my choices! I am SO bummed! Why wouldn't they give me that as an option? I totally would have picked that. 😢
I loved the concealer i got lucky with the shade pick .i have been using it everyday. Most of the time i just use concealer with no foundation

U should get to pick your shade! As if! 😂 think of all the products that go into the trash because consumers receive the wrong shade! I'll take your Elemis product! I still haven't tried that brand yet! The shampoo packaging is pretty but I hate the smell of vanilla🤮 overall great boxes!😊
I got the conditioner, the Glow Recipe Blurring drops, a Wander Beauty palette, Dew of the Gods hair serum, and a Kate Somerville acne treatment. I have concealers marked as often but only seem to get them in my Glam bag, and I have acne treatments marked as rarely, but it was the best option in the category. I'll use it, but it will probably go bad before I can use it all. Also in that category was a brow product, which I also have marked rarely.
I didnt realize it wad shampoo and conditioner but i wanted the beautiful liquid eyeshadow i got from ace beaute its so pretty.
I got the sunscreen and i like it. no reactions but tiny bit oily or sheenlike on the skin. Was easily solved as i am a mineral foundation kinda girly. It wore well with the powder about 4 hours with no real change in how it looked.
Great boxes, makes me want to resubscribe. Would love to hear a follow up on how well you like the sunscreen.
I didn’t have the choice of the conditioner but I did get the shampoo and it’s pretty good. Still waiting on my booster and lippie that wasn’t in my box.
Heyyy miss complainer here LOVED every single item in her box this month... woot woot ♡ The Elemis is my #1. I was so excited to get it. I dont think I smell grape soda, now I have to smell it and see. I have said a million times I wish they made a perfume out of it because I would buy it. I love this male of it so much. I bought the Yensa in add ons. I was going to say your sister does look definitely darker than you on this. They absolutely do need to ask you your undertone. I agree, a 100%. I have gotten very lucky with any of those products they have sent me. My biggest problem with them They ask you your hair color but they don't ask you.Your brow color so I have to lie about my haircolor to get the right brow products. Yes, and common sense wise, they should not be power picks. That should be an option in your choices to choose it or not at your discretion, duh. I did not have the choices of the shampoo conditioner or I definitely would've chosen eh maybe. My choices were excellent.

My power picks were an abh mascara and the Miss Fame blush palette. Never tried the mascara so okay. The blush is beautiful! I also got a face scrub, and 2 serums. Perfect fit for me.

Rachel you can use the oil on your knees and elbows if it does not work on your face. I love that brand.
My choices were different than both of yours. I selected riddle perfume roll on, haus labs lipstick and eye mask set. My power Picks were eyeshadow palette which I have been loving and a glow recipe product. Thanks for sharing your boxes.
I liked my power picks. My Yensa is a good shade match and I got the Glow Recipe blur drops for my other power pick. My only letdown was I was a couple hours late for choice so the conditioner was already sold out and I didn't really like anything else in category 3.
Good afternoon Rachel and Katrina!!! I think you both got very good boxes, but where you both got pretty much the same items it is hard to choose between the two. Hello ladies. I received the Yensa Concealer in the lightest shade, which was perfect for me. I also received Elemis day cream. I love the brand and can never have enough. I also received the Avant hydra eye restoring pads, Girlactik Superfood facial scrub and the sunscreen lotion. I was very pleased. I really enjoy your sister videos. I think you're from Virginia. I'm also a VA girl. Northern Shenandoah Valley.
They did the same to me with the CT foundation last month... it was so dark. I had to give it to a friend. I also got the Yensa concealer and it's kinda too light so I have no idea how they choose shades.
also.. I love Elemis so I am never mad about getting that.

Yes you got an elemis but its not the same one. I have 3 of them now from them. They are close but isnt the same ones.
Right aren’t there small changes? I think FFF boxes had products that were not as good with a slightly different name. People researched it and found out they got budget versions.
I like Katrina box better.
I’ll put my box details below and completely agree that complexion products should be a choice, just 2-4 shades in our range would give us customers some control vs their incompetence lol. My hair is so picky or I would have chose the shampoo and conditioner, plus I also just got some in my FabFitFun so I definitely don’t need any for a long time.

Boxycharm had it right, if you gone offer completion products let us choose it, and if you don’t have our shade than we choose something else same with skin products I got so many skincare for dry skin when I clearly stated I have oily skin with large pores, ipsy barely even go by the quiz 😒
