I am from Ukraine and live about a 3-hour drive from Kyiv. I think I've never seen about 70% of those snacks. However, we have plenty of great things to try here in Ukraine. And yes, many Ukrainians love kvas. The jar of kvas you tried is one of the tastiest, in my opinion.
I got mine a few days ago! I get the yum yum box (I live alone, but I went to a family event over the weekend and let my nephew and nieces attack it). The adults favoured the wasabi chips. I'm assuming it was my toddler niece who ate half the condensed milk cake and left the rest on the table lol. I think my older nephew and niece got into those cookie roll things. Aaaaand I love the fruit chews XD. I do enjoy these boxes, and it was awesome seeing them support Ukrainian businesses and go to so much effort to make this box happen.
As a Ukrainian, I highly recommend Roshen Lacmi milk chocolate with milk filling and cookies. Or Millennium Very Peri milk chocolate with peanuts and salted caramel. These are some of the most delicious types of chocolate.
the third one (the cake) and Polus with hazelnut are from my hometown Kharkiv that is very damaged. My district is almost destroyed and I had to flee from my home on February 24 of 2022 and I’ve been at home only once since then 🥺💔
Well, we actually use cognac in our sweets to preserve them for a long time. But during the cooking process all alcohol evaporates, leaving a premium flavour.
I got a Ukraine box a few years ago and most of the snacks are repeats - don't get me wrong, I LOVE delicious repeats! I don't recall the strawberry cookies and there was no drink at the time, so I would love to try those. The wasabi crisps were amazing! I love Universal Yums! My favorite snack box by far. I really should re-subscribe. Thanks for sharing!
The Bubble bar is just like an Aero bar in the UK, they had a limited edition in a similar flavour but I prefer the mint chocolate. Excellent video as always
I was surprised you never had an airy/bubbly chocolate bar but I guess the Aero bar is only commonly found in Canada and UK (and obviously other countries other than US).
You roast the bread slices (preferably dark bread) in the oven, then add water and sugar to it and let it brew for a couple days. Then you filter it and you may add fried sugar to it for the brown color and some taste. That’s how kvas is made. That’s why you get bread aftertaste, cause it’s literally made of bread)) Enjoy!)
Wow u got a lot of stuff in this box! Thought it was interesting when u said the fluffy cake tasted like alcohol, I swear if a recipe calls for almond extract if u use too much it can taste like alcohol. Maybe it had vodka in it. I hear vodka is very common in Russia & Ukraine. Tried one of those borscht soup mixes awhile back& it was terrible. Had no flavor, glad I got that out of my system 😂
I know that Roshen products are definitely exported, they are available in some stores abroad (I am from Ukraine). I also know that there are separate Ukrainian stores with our products, try to find such in your city. And yes, you are right it will support our manufacturers and our economy as a whole. I also want to say that our sweets can be a little sweeter than you are used to. We usually eat them with tea or coffee, milk.
Kvas Taras is my life. But you need to drink it cold.
Yes, I love kvas too. But it is a summer drink. In autumn or winter it feels very low-calorie and cold.
I adore kvas🥰 Big hi from Ukraine!

Ukraine snacks were some of my favorite so far

привет из Харькова! (район Холодная Гора)
Currently watching this while making dinner, I'm craving sweets now! 😂
This was a really good box! Have a wonderful week ❌️ ⭕️
Loved watching your unboxing. I ended up ordering a single yum yum Ukraine box. I’m so glad they are offering single boxes.

Kvas is the best drink when it’s cold

Love the "sister videos"!! I don't get the Universal Yums but I would have liked to try the bubblegum flavored taffy/candy!

I live in Ukraine all my life and I haven't seen 90% of the brands you taste, I don't know where they get them 😀
Большая часть продается в АТБ и некоторые в других магазинах
You are making me hungry❤
Halva + white bread+milk - amazing combination !)))
It is not THE Ukraine. just Ukraine
This was an awesome box this month!
Hey ladies!!! Love these videos!❤

9:20 Nope. It's actually alcohol and it's allowed for kids to eat this as the amounts of it are miniscule
👍👍👍
I wish I knew IF it helps Ukraine if we buy these items from them and if YES, then how/where can we buy them
It does help Ukraine. Each box subscription is a donation to Ukraine. You can get it by looking up universal Yums

I was born in Ukraine and there’s really no paprika and really no wasabi .. the rest is realistic lol ..love the kitty 🐈⬛ smells bacon 😊
We have paprika - basically called Bulgarian pepper here, also horseradish is basically wasabi.
Lots of sweets- sugar high😂😂
