His chat is so toxic. Personally, I enjoy the fast pace videos and didn’t struggle at all to understand what was going on. Wilbur has always been Tommy’s “big brother” and in the video Logan was supposed to temporarily take that place and be the big bro that gets him into trouble vs Wilbur who was always telling him to be responsible and respectful. That’s why Wilbur is saying bad things about Logan through the whole video. And it ties it off with Logan ditching tommy and Wilbur taking his place back. I thought it was pretty funny and made sense considering who was in the video. Also the awkward humor is a big influence from people like schaltt, callmecarson and old JJ. I feel like Simon and them have just out grown that energy. Simon watching Tommy’s videos feels like showing your parents a meme you find really funny but their not laughing and are looking to much into it.

my only complain with tommys vids are those goddamn subtitles or minimize the size of it cuz when im watching i mostly want to pay attention to both the subtitles and the vid . but its so hard to know wtf is going on the vid cuz im too focused on the subtitles ( remove sub only put it if needed and he will be my all time favourite youtuber ) and i have no complain with the sanppy editing or fast bgm its just those subs

I kinda hate how chat keeps hating on Tommy for how he acts when it's obviously him playing a Character and they don't realize that the real him is so chill and humble, the worst part is that even with that, some people hate on Tommy no matter what. It's one thing to know that a certain Type of content isn't for you but its wrong to just start hating on the content creator when they did nothing inherently wrong

I get it's fast paced, but Simon is literally a fan of David Dobrik, whose videos are even faster paced and edited than Tommy's vlogs. It's just funny how he has to constantly pause it to comprehend what's going on.

@@byelando3957 Not really, it's a bunch of random clips pieced together over the span of like a week or more. Tommy's was clips of the same day by simply taking out all the boring stuff in between. However, David Dobrik's videos being only 4 minutes long though, may help with the increase in randomness.

I’m a strange breed of human. I watch both sidemen and Tommy videos. I don’t avidly watch Logan but I don’t hate him. And then there are sidemen viewers who completely HATE tommyinnit and I’m just confused as to why because he plays a character just like JJ does

Just watch what every Sidemen was doing in their only years of UA-cam then compare it to what Tommy is doing now. He's playing the game and he's killing it. Fair play to the lad honestly
Kinda sad how some of the bigger UA-camrs now try to be like ‘I’m better than that type of content’ or get an inflated idea of themselves. Tommy and Wilbur are both big successes but they stay grounded and humble which is nice, rather than screaming about designer or expensive items they own.

i have ADHD and tommy is my favorite content creator because of his fast paced style and chaotic ness and i can grasp and understand everything going on. i used to not like watching vlogs on youtube in the past but Tommy’s vlogs just keep me captivated and entertained. it’s crazy to me how some people find it hard to understand or too overwhelming. also someone in chat called Tommy a virgin… the kid is 17 years old i’d hope he’s a virgin

It shows a completely different side of him, and is much easier to digest.
The adhd editing is the UA-cam meta right now, constant stimulation with no time to pause and think. Similar for mr Beast, Dream etc and all get crazy views but for me i just can't watch anything edited like this.

@anime lover XD very true but it has a negative impact on reducing the attention span of viewers over time in situations where there's not constant stimulation which is dangerous imo. Sinilar thing to tiktok /insta without the endless scrolling, its great for creators to make money but damaging to viewers.
