I can relate, thank you for sharing! I'm 43 and went through both the screenings at 12weeks. All turned out very well for us! Good luck with your pregnancy!
My second child who is 27 years old now has a syndrome…… happy and loving, lots of laughter every day. It actually would have been good if it was Down’s Syndrome, for higher life functioning skills. It is great that there are so many older children.
I'm not a doc but I think that because you have already had kids, there is less chance of Down's Syndrome... that's what I have noticed regarding this issue.....
It is more likely to happen the older you're. They say it is age based on the mother. Though I know multiple couples with older husband's that had different issues with their children. My best friend was in her 40s with an almost 2 decade difference to her husband. Their 3rd and last baby had trilogy 18. He was still born. I was able to help her as I had a miscarriage soon after getting pregnant.
Great video! Will definitely help people going through the same thing knowing they're not alone with their feelings!! Keep us posted! Xx

I've recently had two babies in my 40s (also have much older children!) and decided to pay for screening for the youngest baby!
I’m 47 and I’m currently 11 weeks pregnant. I’m looking forward to taking the Trisomy test. It would be scary to get the results. I’m not too worried.
Congratulations 🎉 I hope everything goes well for you x
