The MIL tried to lie her way out of this but they couple explained everything and the MIL got arrested and was given a suspended sentence. She ended up just locking herself inside the house and never come out unless its food and any needed stuff.
And this why meddling mothers in law are ignored by their families. They act high and mighty trying to boss their child's mate. When the truth comes out, they become remorseful.
Anyone tells me my mother raised me to be useless, or says ANYTHING negative about my mother, my first response will be " and clearly YOUR parent(s) failed at teaching you to keep your fat, disgusting mouth shut if you have nothing nice to say". My second response would be to tell them to get the hell out of my face or google won't even be able to find them.
