We eat Pandesal for breakfast and afternoon snack (merienda). For adults we mostly deep it to coffee or hot chocolate drink. For kids we put cheese or egg or peanut butter or other spreads. Sometimes we eat it with Instant Pancit Canton.
I should put cheese 🧀 I must like it😍🥰

You did it great Mana. Here in the Philippines we ate pandesal every morning with coffee or milk. You can dip it to coffee or milk if you want. That's the way of other Filipinos how to eat pandesal. If you miss Philippines you can come back here anytime. Hope to meet you one day. Love you mana🥰
It’s beautiful to see the joy in your face, learning a life skill. Miri’s very skilled and smart.
I have to say that you and Miri are brave trying to cook Pandesal from scratch. Miri is right when she says baking is hard. Personally, I've never attempted making Pandesal in all the years I've been cooking and baking. Nothing is a good a fresh baked bread. Congratulations on your first baked bread!
Hello Mana! Hello Miri! So excited to see you two making pandesal in Japan. Nice to see Miri on your channel again. She looks even prettier now. And she speaks better English too. Yey! But congratulations on your successful pandesal. Try it warm with butter and jam. It's delicious! Bye Mana! Bye Miri! 👋🤩
Hi Mana! I'm so glad that you make a bread of the Philippines. The name comes from Spanish word meaning
"Salt Bread"/ "Pan de Salt" its so very delicious with hot coffee ☕🍞❤️
Pan de sal, walang t
Miri looks so kind and smart like you Mana. I love Japanese people. Arigatou 😍
we enjoy pandesal with hot coffee! i like to dip it in coffee xD
in my case, we eat pandesal during breakfast and sometimes mirienda/afternoon snacks
Traditionally, pandesal was only avaiable in the mornings up to 8 am.
There are 3 types of pandesal
1. Malambot (soft)
2. Katamtaman (medium)
3. Tustado (toasted)
Sometime 2000 or 2001, bakeries started selling pandesal anytime of the day. Sometime 2010, bakeries also started selling in the evening.
The change started because convenient stores and supermarkets started to sell packed pandesals and other breads usually only available from town bakeries. Of course, to survive, they have to adapt and match the competition.
I love ur vids Mana ur so pretty!!❤️❤️❤️
Honestly it's good that you're starting off baking by making pandesal because it's one of the easier things to do in my opinion.
Good job! You guys are doing it with so much fun!
Yknow mana just your smile is enough to make my morning full , hehe, glad seeing you well and cheerful.

I'm so glad that you have a new video!by the way please stay safe and stay healthy
Wow amazing!!!
Pandesal is a Spanish word meaning salted bread. So it should be a bit salty. But Filipinos added ingredients to it to make it a little sweet. It’s also very good with some cheese, butter or corned beef and or the liver spread or the lady’s choice sandwich or chicken spread too. I hope you enjoy it. Good luck.
What a succesfull baking pandesal. I dont know why but im so proud of you two 😍😍😍
More of this pls. Nice collab

Nice try! 👍🏽 Oishi! Haha you and Miri make a great team…cooking with dancing haha. I also follow another Japanese UA-camr who cooks Filipino food as well…”Hiro - Food in Japan”. Please do more episodes. I think a “Mana & Miri tour the Philippines” would be a great series as well.

Mana-chan, if ever, try pandesal and Filipino-style peanut butter slathered on the pandesal. One of my most favorite things to eat in the whole world, no joke. Or with butter. Or can be eaten with nothing, but best when it's warm. Thank you for the upload Mana-chan!!!!
Nice mana!!!

I'm so glad Mrs. Mana, that you really love all Filipinos street food and others. Thank you for loving our country. And I also love Japan 😘❤️. Godbless Mrs. Mana. You are my daughter's favorite japanese idol in UA-cam she loves Japan the most it was actually her dream. We love your videos.
I heard from my teacher once, that pandesal is actually from 3 words.
Pan (Japan) - bread
de (Spanish) - of
Sal (English) - salt
Not sure if it is true but it is a fun way to think about it since they are the three colonizers of the Philippines.
yes miss Mana. it is supposed to be salty. "pan" is the Spanish word for "bread". "sal" is the Spanish for "salt". "pan de sal" is the Spanish term for "salt bread". Filipinos adopted the Spanish word and turned it to "pandesal". interestingly most pandesal in the Philippines are more sweet, and only somewhat salty.
Mana your so happy

Hi Manachan! I’m happy so much to watching you in youtube, you make a pandesal.. All Filipino loves pandesal .Hope someday I could meet you. I’m Living in Kure Hiroshima…
We love you Ate Mana our breakfast in the morning pandesal eat with coffee. 😍💖
Most common during breakfast. Very tasty bread.
when I was younger (I'm still young but I it was during the years below 12 years old, now I'm 15) my grandma used to buy pandesal every morning, because a seller would pass by our house yelling "PANDESAL!!" so others would hear him. If you want to buy from him, you scream back the word "pandesal" and choose which bread looks good in your eyes. The hot and fresh breads are stored in a huge rectangular styrofoam box. I don't remember much, but they were really cheap! My grandma would eat it with her coffee while watching some filipino shows on tv.
😊 I'm happy that you already smile. Keep it up idol.
Thank you 😭❤️❤️ I got so many warm hearts from you all!!!!
@@123JAPAN 🙂 Try to visit Davao City someday. I discovered that there was a Japanese community in that city before the world war 2. I hope someone will make a video on that so others will be informed how strong the relationship of both countries.
Here in Philippines pandesal and coffee in the morning its so yummy 😋
Manabee marunong kanang mag luto ng pandisal 👍😍 💖💖💖 🇵🇭
Mana is funny. :)
pandesal is my first favorite bread here in the philippines especially in the morning then accompanied it with coffee that's so amazing😳🥰
I eat pandesal in the morning. It so simple and cheap. Usually I eat it with my milk. I guess the name came from the word pan and sal. Because pan in Spanish is bread and sal is salt. There are many version of it today. Some are ube pandesal and malungay pandesal. I like it when it still hot. We call it "hot pandesal".
That Pandesal look so good Mana you have taste our filipino culture love 🥰👍
