Try eat bread (pandesal) worth Php 2 each and pastil (a mix of rice and a small viand) which cost about Php 10 each just like homeless people do and you will survive for the whole day.
Hi ate mana $1 dollar is the best for student to survive food 1 day... Mostly streetfood like "gulay" "kwekwek" fishballs or kikyam are the best to buy less 10 pesos. So siomai with drink was okey because us safe money. Mostly in seven eleven they have actually have 20 pesos below like noodles and also chips and chocolate. But for me the best you can buy is sari-sair store since they are the less foods that you can eat actually and good to buy also 1 pesos ice, water in their water machine as well. So i wish soon if you come back again in the Philippines you just try in the city of love Philippines edition will be "ube or monggo piyaya" then " sweet banana called pinasugbo" and also "molo soup" the best and also their market they have less that actually buy because this is province.. So all staff are their and also many Korean japanese and chinese restaurant also Iloilo may can choose. Also you can go Iloilo as well the best day will be "January for ati-atihan / dinagyang festival" since that is the best you can go in Iloilo . Thank you for this video that I like that you can. Challenge yourself ate man of 1 dollor only. I wish soon waiting for more upcoming videos here in Philippines nad also around the world. So take care ate mana and keep safe in you future travels and also TV shows also then i wish soon that Mr. 3 collaboration again and fumiya in the Philippines that will be good on your contents and also have fun. Thats all ate mana and God bless you.
Hi Mana!if you want to warm up your morning, you should try our lugaw(rice porridge) and you can buy it under $1 but that siomai and "palamig" is so good.stay safe Mana and thank you for trying our Filipino foods😊🥰😘 🇵🇭 🇯🇵
if you love bubble tea/milktea you can get 36 pesos for a large size of milktea:)) but sometimes other milktea shops are expensive, btw I missed your videos Mana and today I saw you on recommendation:))❤️❤️❤️I'm so happy you are enjoying our country:)
I survived college with 100 pesos or 2 dollars every day, it's tough at first but when you're used to it you'll know where to buy good food with less price and when the day is done I still have like extra 10-20 pesos
Just remember that a 7-Eleven or MiniStop convenience store will add between P2.00 to P6.00 to the price of an item compared to a regular grocery store. If you want to budget, get a combination of items from the local markets and sari-sari stores as well as from the giant supermarkets that can give slightly cheaper prices for different items and groceries.
Hello mana i have a tip for you, if you can find sari sari stores they sell cheaper merchandise including candies, biscuits and noodles. Also in carinderias(they sell viands and has canteen tables to sit) you can buy rice and ask for "sabaw". Sabaw is the soup of their soup dishes and the water is free there. But I don't recommend the 1 dollar challenge especially in Manila 🥺 you might starve still. In the provinces everything is cheaper so you might want to try that, and the air is cleaner too ❤️
Just wanna share this. When I was in college back in 2017, ( I got into college so late, I was 35 then 😅) I have to survive spending 75. pesos a day and we often eat lunch at what we named "bentelog". It it a local eatery or carinderia which serves a meal of 1 cup of rice for only 5 pesos and a viand for only P10. - P15. ( 10 pesos for veggie dish or 15 pesos for meat dish ) For dinner, I often have stir fry veggies with tofu ( I cook them myself) which amounts to 25 pesos, and half of the dish I save for the next day's lunch so that I can save a few more pesos for extra expenses at school. A student's meal that time was usually 25 to 35 pesos but ever since we discovered bentelog we saved much and actually bought my 3rd guitar by saving much from it. 😁
Amazing video great. You can easily take the challenge because in the Philippines there’s lots of options you can for a certain amount. You can easily plan this and also discover something new and special that will be next favorite thing when you find . I glad you trying this challenge. Lots of love and blessings
Good job sticking to the $1 budget. During one of my first jobs, a couple of my buddies and I overspent on stuff for the holidays. So for the next 2 weeks, we inevitably had to participate in the "Zero Peso Challenge." This meant that there was only 1 item on the menu for breakfast and lunch everyday: the free unlimited coffee at our office. It was a wonderful life lesson on budgeting 101.
The anxiety as you watch her eat, knowing she put the camera on the table TvT Unless you were with someone, be careful with your things 'coz someone might snatch it xD
😂😂😂You're pretty funny Mana, I am glad you're having a good time and enjoying yourself. That was pretty good only one $1.00 all day long having masarap goodies. May God Bless you ..Have fun !!👏👏👏
You can buy bihon Worth 30 and 10 pesos set of repolyo with carrots at toyo 10 pesos a total of 50 ( not complete ingredients) but its still yummy ang budget friendly
You should try visiting tanay and tagaytay! Buts it's very far from Manila especially tanay but for tanay it's so cold and there is a bunch of Japanese restaurants there! And fo tagaytay there's so many flipino food and there's a theme park you can even see the Mt. Taal!
Mana san you can try no money challenge and eat something or to drink something and explain it to the person you encounter that you dont have enough money you will know that every filipino can help you to survive.. very challenging. You can realized at the 😂end of the day the real filipino attitude, they are kind and hospitality
Hello Mana. Please be reminded that you need to be cautious and be careful while making your vlogs esp. Quiapo has one of the highest crime rates throughout the country. Also, foreigners are one of the primary targets of those crooks. Just a gentle reminder. Keep safe always on your travels.
How about my work ?😊✨ if you can send only &1, what do you buy for 3 meals?🥰

It's very entertaining to watch your video Mana. Great job spending only $1 in one day for food. I couldn't have done it.
You can live off one US dollar per day in the Philippines. If you eat noodles every day.

Mana 1 dollar is 56 pesos which is really high for Filipinos
