Suzanne's engineering mindset is impressive. She ordered roast chicken on all three flights. For a data driven experiment, it is important to keep your variables comparable. Well done.
Next review. Battle of the Brits. BA vs Virgin Atlantic. Biz class. And to truly test out the seat, fly between Heathrow and LAX. Great video on the big 3.
The fleet-wide Polaris seats on United is such an under appreciated feature. Flying for business, I just pick the flight I need and the seat I prefer. When one of the others, I have to scout out which seat config I want (or don’t want). Appreciating the plentiful options from JFK and EWR, the flights from there to LHR are just a little too much on the short side. ATL is a similar flight time as from ORD, and DFW and IAH have decent volume. I wonder if the longer flights do a little better in some areas.

I flew United Polaris from SFO to Beijing and I can just say no matter the other factors having a lie flat seat in the air for such a long flight always makes it worth it
With a past neck injury from an accident, the lie flat seats in Polaris or Delta one, are the difference, in waking refreshed and pain free. THE only way to go!
On United the odd rows have more privacy and a bigger footwell and the bulkhead is the only option that can work for taller people as it gives a large foot area
As a frequent business traveler in the US, it totally tracks that these 3 tied. I’ve given up on staying loyal to one and go with what can get me there nonstop if possible. None of them are significantly better than the other. If Asian carriers were an option.. different story. Thanks for the consistently great content!
Love the fun facts like the longest bar in London and the price per bottle of all 3 airlines beverage offerings...these add soo much value! Thank You :)
Hey Jeb & Suzanne: First time commenter from The West Coast of The US. but long time viewer and a big fan. Just wanted to give both of you kudos for probably the Best 5 🌟 TRAVEL VLOGER on UA-cam. Your Jeb Score is extremely helpful & you keep current with the ever changing quality of all the Airline products as they sometimes lower quality to save money. Keep on Traveling the way you do. 👍
I am always looking for Jeb and Suzanne and their terrific videos. They don't come as often as I would like...today, I find the newest and am I happy about it!!! Let me say...they are the perfect way to pull someone up out of the depressions. I had heart surgery three days ago, being warned that a certain amount of depression comes with it. But I watched Jeb and Suzanne, and they truly lifted my spirits. Thank you so much!!! You are happy, bubbly and never derogatory, no matter the circumstance. I feel a lot better!!!
You are so right! Love them! I am a recent widow after 41 years with a manic/bi polar husband and glad that part of my life is over. If I were ever to remarry it would have to be with someone who makes me laugh like this wonderful sweet couple!
There really isn't much to compare with the big 3 for PE. 18.5", 34 pitch, standard footrest in an awkward spot unless you get row 1 bulkhead, economy meal with silverware vs plastic, and drinks off the cart unless you get up for a refill. Amenity kit is pretty sad. I just saved you 35 minutes.
United has a flight attendant crew base in London so I’m surprised they were understaffed. American flight 100 and 105 have the leave headset at seat test ongoing so those are the only flights where you can use the B&O headsets for the entire flight .
Hi Jeb, we did UA Polaris to and from Australia out from SFO, back from LAX. I have to say that the seat was very welcoming on that very long flight. The pillows UA uses are far superior. Food wise I have to agree with you, I'd opt to eat at the lounges and just have an "it is what it is" attitude towards the in flight meal. They're not bad, just not the best. Service wise with a full crew I'd say we lacked for nothing. It was a 777-300ER going out and a 787 coming back.
@@Roboseal2 Both aircraft felt about the same to me in the center seats but I prefer the 777-300ER's space/reliability but I do like the higher cabin pressure/humidity of the 787.
We usually fly business class for almost all flight if available. So far Air Canada has been my “worst”. I never really paid much attention to size/type of planes until recently after having an overnight flight from LAX to Toronto, it was just larger seats, no lay flat seats, after the night in the uncomfortable seat, we had an 7 hour drive after landing, which felt so much longer after getting very little rest. My favorite food is the cheese & fruit plate on Alaska Airlines.
@@wizardmixthe 773 has about inch wider Polaris seats . I would say both are well designed and equally quiet , but considering the 787 is a newer model the cabin climate inside it is far superior to that of the 773.
I saw you talking on the Brooks Group website. It is obvious you’re a GREAT REPRESENTATIVE for that company because you speak very well and your English Diction is clear and precise. No brainer why you and your wife are so easy to listen to and enjoy on this channel 👌
Wow, that was an incredible video! Jeb and Susanne, you two are amazing! Maybe for the next video, you could compare Australia and/or New Zealand? That would be so cool!
The “my fauuullltttt” from Suzanne is the most relatable thing in this video. We’ve all been in the lounge and realized; “wait, E and B are different, right?… damn it.”
You should have done JetBlue on the way home lol next time you have to try play, Norse, and Icelandic :) you should also do a budget Canadian series with westjet, air Canada, air transat, and porter

I love when Suzanne can travel with you as we get to see more options since she likes different foods, plus her feminine take on the accommodations adds more info, too.
Flew UA Polaris and AA Flagship business class and I can agree with Jeb. The food in Polaris was quite disappointed (SFO-ICN) in spite of the Polaris lounge offered beyond airport expectations with their a la carte service. Though, the catering for AA always kept their quality as taste wise not the plating wise since they always served everything in one tray except for the dessert. AA’s B787-9(LAX-HND) and B777-200 (ZRH-PHI) seats were not bad, personally liked B777-200 one more since it gives you free movement of your knees when fully flattened. On the other hand the dreamliner seat is newer than B777-200’s but it blocks your knees with their table right under the screen. UA Polaris seat was so impressive with their newest design and privacy when it was launched first in the industry. Thanks Jeb for this great video!
Wow, definitely did not expect the end result :). Great work with this comparison! I've only flown AA in Intl Biz class and did enjoy the seat (777-200) and the service (they did wake me up for breakfast), though the food was meh (this was 2018 though, so seems as they've improved it quite a bit). I also echo the request for a US Big Three Intl Premium Economy comparison. I've flown all three in Premium Economy and have my opinions there, would love to compare with the Greener Grass couple!

I'm still shocked that internet doesn't come included with those prices though 😅 (but props to Delta for having affordable and fast speeds compared to the others). It would be interesting to try this comparison again in a few years when the airlines upgrade their business class amenities and cabins. Those Delta headphones though compared to the B&O from American, a night and day difference!
