Alziti Bbella - Bowl Back Mandolin & Guitar

The tune is taken from John T. La Barbera’s book of Traditional Southern Italian Mandolin & Fiddle Tunes, in which he describes it as a love serenade from the region of Lazio. Played on a vintage (1896) Michele Maratea bowl back mandolin, originally restored by John Maddock; to improve playability I recently had the fretboard replaced by Lucas Sobieranski - www.lucassobieranski.com/
