Nice video sir, but I dnt agree with your 3rd example. The statement " reporter told me ......" can't be dissected into two parts, since it is one fact i.e. the statement of the reporter itself, the testimony of the witness is limited only to the statement and not related to the act of killing(though indirectly he referred to it, by reiterating just the statement). Furthermore, breaking the main fact, and reading the parts of clauses in isolation won't be right, since the testimony can be broken into many other parts as well. Eg - "The reporter told me ...." can be further broken into sub fact 1. Reporter(The person is reporter is also a fact) 2. Told me that.

It will be relevant as part of same transaction... Considered as exception to hearsay evidence... But its not direct evidence
