There’s a bolt on the top side of the transmission that’s says ATF. That’s the fill spot.

@@RBTheMechanic yes 17mm. I had to put a bar on my ratchet to break it free. I almost had to do your trick in the dipstick tube. When it broke free I busted the hell out of my hand.

Shouldn’t u fill it 2 to 3 times then drain it till u clean all the dirty once out
Well that would be idea if it’s ur car other wise customer don’t wanna pay 2-3 times
If no torque wrench would say its half a turn more after it touches the washer...?

How good is that AISIN ATF fluid ? Is this aisin better than oem Acura atf fluid?

@@RBTheMechanic I’m using valvoline Max life on my MDX tranny. I have a curiosity this MDX you was changing the ATF have you ever drive it. My 2010 Acura MDX is shifting funny from a stop and go from 1st to 2nd shift but more noticeable in traffic when I press the accelerator gently I fell like a push forward or jerk forward and the 1,2,3 gear shift change to fast. But if you press the gas and the rpm go up to 1800 rpm you did not notice anything you will fell that only at 1500 or below that. Any suggestions about what’s could be? Thanks

@@Southpaw-qc9gh hiii 180,400 miles on it. But I did sent it to the dealer and they did the 3x3 transmission fluid changed and they reset the transmission software it did not solve the issue but it’s shifting smoother than before specially when the ATF is warm. I only fell the jerk a bit when the car is cold but when warm it not noticeable.
