I would trade cute bed and cute dressing thing
I got a large star fragment in one for FREE and sold it for 50,000 bells
I never put in clothing items (unless it’s a special npc item) and I limit the amount of wallpaper and flooring I put in (usually only put in wallpaper/flooring if it’s a saharah item or a seasonal diy) I usually put in a good mix of big and small items, and I theme my mystery grab bags based off popular aesthetics, so people can actually use what they receive!! If it’s a relatively new player, I do add in more common materials like wood. I always put in some regular Star fragments and NMTs no matter what the bag is themed.

omg seeing the stall with the balloon made me think of a potential idea for the island!! what if you did a little balloon stand/cart like they do at fairs/carnivals? you can totally ignore this if it isnt your thing, it just sounds like a way to keep up with adding lots of color, maybe for a small space that feels empty? 💕💗

Selling grab bags is like my favorite thing to do on Nookazon!! I use it to rehome items i don't need or want but think would be a shame to just sell to T&T. Like seasonal items, Saharah stuff (only the decent looking ones though, nobody wants a paintball wall lol), real/fake redd art, actually cute clothes, excess crafting materials (though again I'm talking more iron nuggets less softwood lol), sanrio furniture, etc. Plus I'm a habitual theme changer so I usually have items I used in a previous theme that I don't want anymore for my current one but are still good items. It's always more fun to sell as bulk grab bags than trying to sell them all individually!! And you can make some pretty good bells off it too. I usually take as low as 100k a batch (each batch being like 20 grab bags) but like today I just had someone offer 2mil. Gave them a bunch of extras for that one lol.

Okay, I'm really embarrassed, but I just found out about Nookazon based on this video. And I've literally been buying one of each single item this past year. I have maybe 400-500 duplicates of DIYs, clothes, furniture, and waaaay too many shooting stars and resources everywhere.
Im thinking of trying out the mystery bag selling, but I don't know if it's "easy" to get scammed and such?

Actually, some of that trash isn't exactly trash. You can craft really cute little flower displays for a table with the cans, and the tires work great for seating areas - especially in a playground setting.

everytime i do yard sells or grab bags i try to put items that are hard to get, stacks of zodiac fragments, different seasonal materials, sanrio items. because if i have a ton, i might as well give it away for free. i used to do nmts as well. but iv ran out. so i just do items i can get alot of. such as sanrio items and zodiac fragments since i love annoying celeste...

@@lauren5417 They’re the thingies that show up on your beach the day after you wish on a shooting star!! They’re shaped after Japanese candies and you can use them to craft super cute items which you should totally look up!!

You need the diy recipe first tho- you can get it from celeste or trade for it on nookazon (which i don’t recommend since most people charge A LOT).. I’ve been playing since december and i’m still working on getting the recipe for it cause it’s so cute!!!

While this is absolutely true, I prefer to never do this and ask others to not on my island as well because it can mess with a few things on the island. For example it will reset Celeste's placement on the island so having her trapped gets reset if anyone does it this way and can be super annoying

I once got ten mystery grab bags and in 5 of them there was about 500,000 bells in total. I haven’t seen that person since but it made my month. Some people on nookazon can be SUPER nice.

I love selling the mystery bags! It's a good way to get rid of items that are expensive (but i Have to buy to have it in the catalogue) or rare items that i already have but got doubles from villagers. When i get an offer i usually have the bags already made up but i will take a peek at what is on their wishlist to see if i can add anything.

I try to make it things I know people want! I go through the “hot” items on Nookazon and put a lot of them in my bags. I also try to include DIYs and materials.

Honestly I treat acnh like an "iso" shop at this point with nookazon to keep me from burning out but I really enjoy collecting the items for people 😊 usually with my mystery bags I go off their wishlist/aesthetic / offers only etc. But I cant believe how much people charge for these esp for like sanrio items etc. So I love slipping those babies in bc it makes people SO happy i LOVE 💞
